This journal is very nice there is plenty of room to write and you have all of the sections titles you need. It is very well formatted and the binding still looks like new.

I bought this journal for my granddaughter for Christmas. She has become an avid bird watcher this past year, and was really excited when she unwrapped it on Christmas. An hour or so later, she was already copying the notes she’d kept on her iphone into the journal, and was up to 68 birds she’d observed. It was clearly the winning gift!

I'm brand spanking new to this hobby and have found it to be such a great book for beginners.

I like the binding, it makes it easier to write in because you can fold the pages behind each other. There are a lot pages to journal bird sightings. The pages are organized well, with many categories for journaling the information about your sighting. Paper quality is typical. It’s a little expensive for the quality, but worth buying if it’s something you will use often. I like the size of the book, we use it by keeping by a window where we have a bird feeder so it is within reach when see a bird we want to record into it. It does exactly what you need it do. I will probably get another one when we fill this one up, but it would be nice if it were a little less expensive than $14.99. If it were $9.99, it would be priced correctly for its quality.
