Portability combined with ample storage.
I am constantly on the go and needed a way to safely contain used lancets, used glucose testing strips, and used insulin pen needles. Having this product has made it convenient and safe to do any of my testing and medication needs any place I go. I have had no issues with the container, it meets all regulations for the storage and disposal of sharps containers. It fits nicely into my diabetic supply carrying case. Any individual needing this type of product would be satisfied with this product. It is also useful, I would assume for medical professionals, EMTs, or first response personal who need a portable yet regulated waste container. The price for the product was very satisfying, I had searched several products before making this purchase. The shipping was fast. I would highly recommend this product.

Small but roomy! Wish they were re-openable for more than one use though.
I was looking for a small sharps container to take with me on a cruise, and thought these would work. The only problem is that I thought for some reason that I would be able to open and close it several times.....but after ruining one tryng it out, I found that once you actually close it tighy, it locks and you simply cannot get it back open. So I'll have to leave one oprn slightly to use it for the purpose I had wanted it for. cBut they will definitly work for the small size for luggage!!

It really works!
When I ordered the AdirMed Sharps & Needles Bio-Hazard Disposal Container 1 Quart - 1 Pack, I was dubious. Would this really be a sufficient red plastic container for holding sharps I want to dispose of safely? It's a big ask. Would I really be able to find something to save my self from countless cuts, needle sticks, and infection for the low price of under $8? It turns out, yes! The AdirMed Sharps & Needle Bio-Hazard Disposal Container 1 Quart - 1 Pack IS actually a plastic red container capable of holding sharps you want to dispose of safely! Who would have guessed?! Package includes: -red plastic container -white/clear plastic lid -endless safety -improved quality of life In all seriousness, I bought this for disposing of safety razors, and it's kind of big. My fault for not having a firm grasp on how large a quart is.

bought for travel, but not sure I would use again
I bought them so security would not give me grief about my syringe either coming or going but I am not sure they even looked. A solid container for everyone's protection like an old Rx bottle would have worked fine. The only issue functionally with these is that the lid has a somewhat single use lock. You can snap it and reuse it but its integrity is lowered each time. You are not required to snap the lock on the lid but the lid is not terribly secure without it. If you are only using it for placing used needles than the one use lock is fine. I noticed airports and more places than I realized had sharps containers in the bathrooms so I could throw out my needle even before traveling if necessary. I see no reason for the pointed end of the container either - that seems unfunctional and made for less room for unused needles on way out. Price is cheap - so I guess I would say they work fine as advertised but ...

Great for anywhere or a larger disposal container is inconvenient
