Instant Ocean Aquarium Salt 4 kg/120 L

If you follow the instructions on the tub you’ll have no problems just some simple maths is required to get the salinity required weighing out the salt, I mixed overnight and by the morning it had completely dissolved giving nice clear water & my fish seem happy & healthy. Maybe not suitable for more advanced reef tanks but a fish only tank is absolutely fine.

Been using this salt mix for years (5 times bought on Amazon) after trying a few other brands inbetween, but this one I settled on. The price is really good (keep checking as it does drop to £50 (or so) which is really cost effective for 20kg, compared to kilo packs from shops). Mixes really easy (I premix in a 50L plastic drum, running airstones overnight, to ensure a good aerated mix for water changes, but have done smaller amounts by bucket in the past. Mixes in minutes pouring one bucket of it, into another bucket, to speed mixing up). Salt is usually in a plastic bag, inside the tub, which is ideal for preventing moisture getting in & clumping the mix. Tub is also really handy afterwards for all sorts of things, including transporting fish, instead of in bags. I also store "fish gear" in them to prevent equipment getting mixed up with household items like cleaning brushes, towels, sponges etc. Not had a damaged delivery so far (touch wood!) Highly recommend this salt.

Fellow the 33g pre 1lit, but mixture turn out too low in salt, have to use more, so be careful must check before using, but they do resolve very quick and easy.

Habe das Salz zum Aufsalzen für die Amano Garnelen Zucht benutzt und es hatte gleich auf Anhieb damit funktioniert.

Funkar fint på mina koraller, speciellt mjuk koraller. Något dyrt.

Es la tercera vez que la compro para cambios de 120 litros, que es para lo que da este envase de 4kg. Me está dando muy buenos resultados. Seguiré comprando. Lo peor el recipiente te plastico donde viene, tiende a salir la sal y esparcirse por la caja de Amazon, eso tendrían que mejorar.
