Best Product Ever!
I’m so happy I found this brand after a lot of research! Our previous detergent left a chemical smell and made anything rubber taste unpleasant. Puracy is amazing — it cleans thoroughly without the need for pre-washing and leaves no residue. The light scent is pleasant, not overpowering or chemical-like. I love it so much that I’ve recommended it to all my friends and family!

The BEST fragrance-free option!
UPDATE (Jan. 2025):Still my favorite brand, hands down. No strange perfume residue on my dishes and they just work. I do use two on a heavy cycle for really dirty or baked-on loads, but using one on the normal cycle is fine for most loads.[Note: I recently tried a cheaper brand when these weren’t available. Ugh! I was horrified by how useless they were. Seriously. I thought something was wrong with my machine! I ran one regular load through three increasingly heavy cycles, rearranging the dishes and using two pods with the final heaviest cycle. I never did manage to get that load clean — until i ran a normal cycle with my one last Puracy pod. Phew! Haha]Also, I’ve begun using these at a home where the water is much, much harder than my previous place (more minerals, more alkalinity) and they still perform fantastically. Woohoo! As before, my biggest gripe with this product is the plastic pouch. Why? Completely unnecessary. Even my liquid laundry pods come in cardboard. It’s never been a problem. PLEASE, PURACY! Just switch to cardboard cartons or aluminum canisters.(HINT: When forced to make do with another brand, the 7thGen pods are the only others I’ve found to be similarly effective.)=======ORIGINAL REVIEW:Works very well compared with any other fragrance-free brand I’ve tried so far (several). No noticeable residue on dishes, no etching of glasses and silverware, and usually gets everything clean. Not cheap, but not the most expensive. I really wish it came in a larger, more economical size. Also, it would be so great if it was packaged in paper or cardboard or an aluminum tin—something without any plastic. It’s not a liquid, so other than keeping the pods dry, the plastic bag is not strictly necessary. The company should experiment with other options.Anyway. It is a good product.. The pod dosage is just right in that it allows for some flexibility. For lightly soiled loads and/or when the machine is full but only just, I use one pod. When the dishwasher is really jam-packed and/or the dishes are extra dirty, I’ve found it’s best to use two pods. That’s perfect in my book, much like deciding whether to pour regular detergent into just one of the dispenser cups or both. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯For the record, the water in my current place is neither soft nor particularly hard. You may get better or worse results if your water is dramatically different.

Works amazingly!
Ever since changing to this product my dishes have come out cleaner and no water spots unlike before. The pods dissolve completely and are very effective! You only need on pod per load and just need to scrap excess food into trash before loading no need to rinse! I have these on automatic delivery every month!

Soapsuds and leaking!
I have a Bosche dishwasher that is only a little over a year old. This is my first time trying Puracy and I will never buy it again. Upon opening the bag, I noticed that one of the pods was busted open (inside the bag), but I went ahead a gave the product a try anyway. Overall it worked fine at first, although I did notice some soapsuds inside the dishwasher at the end of a cycle … but I just wiped these up at the time and thought, oh well. No biggie. But then on the 3rd day of using Puracy (running one load of dishes per day, normal cycle), I walked into the kitchen — mid-cycle — and discovered foamy soapsuds leaking out all over the floor. I really wanted to like this product because I’ve been looking for a replacement for my usual all-natural one (that’s been out of stock everywhere…) :( I guess the search will have to continue.
