Worked great. I used the food that came with it, and then some condensed milk. Coffee works alright too. I placed an applecore next to it, and it seems to bait them near.I found that it doesn't attract the flies unless you have a strong scent coming from it. I used an extension cord and placed it right off my porch, and it caught around 20 flies in the first hour.Make sure there's nothing in the grates, or the strong, slow turning motor can snap the center plastic connector.The other reviews mention it not turning. Take off the rotating peice and add a bit of super glue if it doesn't turn. This motor has a lot of torque.Small flies can escape if they're smart. 90% of them can't escape.

Opened the box, no instructions. Got the flytrap out and placed on table. Plugged in the usb cord. Worked for about an hr and then it stopped spining. Also in the package was a baggie with some dark powder stuff. Wont be buying from this company again!

It doesn’t work as good as the video. I’ve seen flys on top but not going in. Slightly noisey I guess. I just bought a salt gun to handle my unwanted guests

Completely ineffective. Flies easily escaped, coming and going as they pleased. Included bait was useless, has to improvise and alternative and still flies we're not really trapped.

Started making noises after a few days, that continued to get louder as time wore on. I'm thinking it was the noise that led to it not catching a single fly while it was plugged in (almost a month until I couldn't stand the noise). I've gone back to nasty fly strips that work, are cheaper, and don't make any noiseI recommend not buying this.

The USB power cord is too short to be practical. It limits where the device can be set up. It's not very effective outside if there is a lot of fly-attracting material around. (I have chickens). Would not recommend.There are many offers from different manufacturers at different price points from very cheap to somewhat pricey, but they all look and function the same. I doubt there is any difference in quality, but some come with a few extras.

product does not catch flies at all. They crawl right out the hole. Not to mention there is no directions; well maybe it's what is printed in Chinese all over the box but since I speak English it doesn't do much good. Highly disappointed. Sent right back. Don't waste your money.
