Now have the Snow-Raft! Just need the snow!
My wife and I, recently ordered some snow tubes. now the whole family is getting on-board! LOL!So, now we are looking for a Snow Tube that we could both fit on and slide down the slope together on.This Snow Raft, as I call it, is rated for upto 550lb, so it is plenty durable enough for the both of us.What peaked our interest about this Snow Raft, was the outer durable covering, that protects the softer vinyl inflatable ring, within. Ingenius really. We also like the heavy-duty handles and the fact that it comes with a tether. So, now I can just get my wife to tow me up the hill! LOL!As for price, yes it is a litle pricey. But how much of price do you place on hours of fun in the snow, and memories that will last a lifetime? Price-less!We are very fortunate in that we live in a home surrounded by steep hills on all three sides, overlooking our rear yard. Our back yard leads onto the base of these long steep, slopes. these are the vistas that we blessed to be able to look-out over, each day.So, we have in effect, views over the entire ski-slope area, from our back windows! It really is a snow-fest wonderland! So, this year we decided to join in all the fun and along with all the local kids, and hit the slopes! LOL!But, to do that, we needed some sleds and Snow rings. and now we have them! All we need now is the snow!

Nice sled for racing with an adult
The stitching on the fabric is nicely done and this 2 person sled tube is nicely constructed. There are two points of inflation. One is on the bottom of the sled along where your rider sits, and the other one is the barrier around the circumference of the sled. My air pump was not strong enough to get the barrier fully inflated, so you will need a very strong pump to get as much air as it recommends to that area. The backrest is a little flimsy. I wish it handled more support kind of like a kickboard for a pool - that's the type of firm support I would hope that it had. The handles are very well done, they're comfortable to grip because they have a foam insert.I'm 5 foot five and when I sit at the back the sled, my feet can fully extend in front of me and then there is enough room for a toddler to sit in front of me. You will need your own air pump to inflate this tube.

Just in time for the snow!!
We have an upcoming snow day vacation in a few weeks and was looking for a snow sled to bring. I came across this sled and decided to give it a try. With an electric pump, we were able to inflate the sled within a few minutes. The sled is made of heavy duty material. The handles feel comfortable to grip on. What I like about this sled is the integrated back rest for the rear. The person in the back can sit up and lay against the backrest. The sled also comes with a pull handle so adults can pull their child with ease. One unique thing about this inflatable sled is the soft ruler. You're suppose to align the soft ruler against the surface of the sled. As you inflate, you need to inflate up to 10cm. This prevent over inflating or under inflating. Very clever addition!!

Built tough with some awesome design features
This review will be an out of the box review as we don't have any snow on the ground yet here in Maine. I'll update after the first sledding. This tube is like a lifeboat for sledding! It is big, measuring 63.5" long x 33.5" wide... with a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds.Th top is made of heavy canvas front and rear passenger handles that are double reinforced stitched. The rubber is "puncture proof per the manufacturer" I take that to mean that it is simply built tough. I do not think that any rubber made product is puncture proof. The bottom Anti-Skid Strips are an interesting addition to an inflatable snow tube! I can see where these are going to allow the tube to be controlled much easier (side slippage or spinning).Update to follow our first snow!

Premium
I can’t wait for some snow to try this out, but this looks like a premium ride that will last for years. The inflatable floor makes it a smoother ride than what you will get elsewhere and the sides give you a margin of safety when dealing with rocks or trees on your way down the slope. It’s also safer for other riders on the slope if you crash into them. As an inflatable kayak owner, I really appreciate the dual stage air valve and the inflation guide stamped onto the inner tube.As with any inflatable, blow it up to the recommended amount as soon as you receive it and let it sit for at least 24 hours. You don’t want to find out something is wrong on the day you actually want to use it.In the case of any inflatable snow sled, it’s also very likely that you will have purchased it more than a month before you get enough snow to use it. Ensure that you don’t miss the return deadline. In the case of this particular snow sled, inflate it without its cover. I know that with inflatable beds that they can stretch a small amount the first time they are inflated. If your sled does seem slightly soft after 3 days, refill it to the recommended amount and see if it keeps it firmness the second time around. It’s highly unlikely that tube will become punctured or gashed, but an alternative to buying an entirely new tube is to go to a boat repair shop that fixes Zodiacs.

Perfect Snow Fun for the Whole Family with This Inflatable Sled!
As of this date, November 2024, the regular price of this item is $76.99. Without any available discount or coupon at the time. This QPAU inflatable sled has quickly become a family favourite! As soon as we took it out, I could tell it was built for fun and durability. It’s perfect for those winter adventures, and I know my kids are going to love it as much as I do.First off, the sled’s design is a standout. The bold red and blue colours look amazing against the snow, and the premium canvas cover is incredibly practical. This cover not only adds durability, protecting the sled from punctures on rougher patches, but also keeps it easy to pack and transport. Having the pull rope is a huge plus, especially when dragging it back up the hill! One of the best parts of this sled is that it’s designed for two people, making it ideal for family fun. There’s plenty of room, and the sturdy construction feels safe even with both kids on it or with one of us adults joining in. The weight capacity of 500 pounds is reassuring too, so we can sled together without worrying. The reinforced handles are a game-changer, especially with gloves on, giving a secure grip that helps everyone feel safe even at faster speeds. With its backrest and the smooth, low-friction canvas, this sled is all about comfort and speed—great for both steep, thrilling rides and gentle slopes.Inflating it is a breeze with the big air valve, and it deflates compactly, so we can easily bring it on all our winter trips. This sled is everything we wanted and more—durable, fun, and a fantastic way to enjoy the snow with the kids. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to make the most of winter!

Let it snow! Let it snow!!
With one 5 yr old grandson already talking winter fun and his 3 yr old brother ready to try anything, this is the year to take them to the community hill. No doubt the younger one will want his father to take him for his first ride, but after that I know who will be leading the charge down the slopes. This two-up inflatable sled by QPAU is perfect on a number of scores, as follows: a) it is big enough for one adult and one child to slide together for the first few runs; thereafter it will be perfect for two snow-suited adventurers together. b) I really like the four reassuringly robust handles built into the top of the inflatable tube which, by itself, offers some degree of impact protection. I'm especially sensitive to that as the younger of my two grandsons invariably leads with his head. c) the backrest is a nice feature for Mom & Dad when they clamber aboard for a ride. d) the separately-inflated bottom not only provides a little cushioning from bumps and jumps, it also features tracked hard running surfaces to protect against early punctures. e) the sled comes with a vinyl repair patch... but no pvc glue... plus a pulling strap for those uphill climbs, with or without young & light passengers aboard.A couple of points to remember when inflating the sled: f) remember to free the backrest from the red fabric loop it is shipped within BEFORE attempting to inflate the sled; if you don't, the backrest will become ensnared in the red loop and you'll have to deflate to free it. g) inflate the bottom chamber until it stretches out to the maximum as measured by the included transparent vinyl measuring tape. Over or under inflation will cause problems in longevity, comfort and performance. My garage compressor and a rubber-tipped air gun did the job in about 1 minute; the 5/8" rubber tip (see photo) seated nicely with the two air inlet valves of the snow tube. Alternatively, a vacuum hose connected to the exhaust port of a typical shop vac would do the job, but with some air leakage. At 75 yrs, I'm not about to blow anything this big up with lung power. The construction and materials used suggest this sled should last more than a few seasons (I like the rugged - but not ballistic - red nylon used to cover the top) but of course care must be taken to avoid sharp sticks and heavily abrasive surfaces along the bottom and sides of the tube. It deflates quickly and easily via the two separate valves; complete deflation can be achieved with a shop vac or similar appliance. Storage of a deflated snow sled is easy as it takes up about 1/3 of a cubic foot.m, but getting it all back into the shipping box and zip-lock bag for storage purposes proved to be a bridge too far for me.Overall opinion: while not as robustly made as summer's water tow-tubes, I don't think the snow sled will be subjected to the kinds of stresses its summer cousins will face, so it should last until the kids grow out of it. The bright red & black colours give it a real "wow factor" for kids. Recommended; I can't wait for the first snowy winter holiday.

Great tandem inflatable sled!
This is a great tandem snow sled with lots of great features.Pros:- Canvas Cover: The canvas adds an extra layer of durability and protection against punctures while providing a smooth ride over various snow conditions.- Heavy-Duty Construction: The thick PVC material makes the sled feel reliable and capable of handling heavy use, even on rugged snow paths.- Spacious Design: This sled easily fits my kid and me. It can fit two adults but it’s a little tight for the person in front.- Reinforced Handles: The handles are sturdy and well-placed, ensuring a secure grip during fast descents or bumpy rides.- Easy Inflation and Deflation: The snow tube inflates quickly and holds air well, so you spend less time setting up and more time sledding. Deflating and storing it after use is equally simple.Cons:- Weight: While the quality materials add durability, they also make the sled a bit heavier to carry uphill especially for kids. Best to leave it to adults or teenagers.- Canvas Cover Maintenance: The canvas cover did absorb some moisture and snow, so it’s best to let it dry thoroughly after use and before storing away to prevent any wear or mildew.Overall, this sled is a fantastic winter toy that’s both functional and fun. Its heavy-duty build and thoughtful features make it a reliable option for family trips to the local sled hill. While it’s not the lightest sled to lug around, its durability and performance more than make up for it.

Heavy duty to last
I recently got the QPAU Snow Sled with Premium Canvas Cover, and it has quickly become a favorite for our winter outings. This two-person inflatable snow tube is incredibly well-made and heavy-duty, ensuring that it won’t puncture easily even with regular use. The reinforced handles are a great feature, providing a secure and comfortable grip for both kids and adults. The sled's design is both functional and stylish, with a vibrant red and blue color scheme that stands out on the snowy hills. The premium canvas cover adds an extra layer of durability, making this sled a long-lasting addition to our winter gear. One thing to note, though, is that it would have been even better if the sled included a pump to inflate. While it's not a deal-breaker, it’s something to keep in mind when planning your snow day adventures.Overall, if you’re looking for a high-quality, durable snow sled that’s perfect for family fun, the QPAU Snow Sled is an excellent choice. It’s built to last and provides hours of enjoyment in the snow!
