Alas, my relatively new cars don't come with a spare tire or a jack. So, I didn't have one to use when I needed it for lifting my bed. I'd been advised to lift the head of my bed and use risers under the head's legs. But a bed frame and bed are heavy. No way you can do this on your own. So, I looked for a simple and inexpensive jack that would do this for me. This is the one I found on Amazon and it is a great value. It's solidly built. Simple to use. Should last a lifetime. It's amazing how easily this lifts. You can almost just turn the mechanism by hand and see the bed rise as if by magic. The handle that comes with it takes over and makes it a breeze. So, job done. And now I have a jack for the car, should I need to change a tire, or two. You can't go wrong with this jack. It's money well spent!

Well, I had a almost unused Craftsman hydraulic mechanics floor jack, 2.5 ton, and I bought it new. Maybe used 20 times and it now leaks hydraulic oil, and no repair parts available for it. What a disappointment. Bought this scissor jack, and wow, it works perfect. And, no leaks...... course, that's not surprising as it uses no hydraulic oil. Very easy to use, very stable, and it picks up the front of my car easily (Journey SXT). I can see this thing lasting longer than I do, and even my kids.... Thanks for a great product...

I like it, looks nice, easy to use. Having said that it is not as heavy duty as they make it out to be and in some cases the powder coating is super smooth and slick and that works against what you're trying to do because it won't stay in place. They could add a knurled surface to the bottom or a hard rubber surface would be really great. Also the top is just a little bit awkward mating up with a lot of different surfaces. I only mention that because these kind of jacks are used for a ton of different applications not just to change a tire. Having said that it's a decent unit and has so far served me well.

I bought this to use on a small boat and it works great. Solid construction and overall a good value.

The scissor jack my cat came with broke after it fell when I had it jacked up. This base it way wider and much more secure. Easy to use. The only draw back is the tool to crank isn't as sturdy. Already bent a little. Overall though great product that shipped fast and has been a huge help for changing flat tires while traveling.

Needed a larger jack for a project and this was has a wider bas and is easy to operate. Perfect for the job.

Product works well but the feet of the jack are very thin, allowing them to be bent. While jacking my car it somehow swayed slightly and the foot of the jack bent allowing my car to suddenly fall a couple inches. Now the jack doesn't sit flat/stable anymore

I purchased two jacks to do a brake job on my truck. One was defective but still worked.They were very stable and easy to work with. No problem with getting a replacement. I recommend this product for it's price and functionality.

It works great and with the rubber slotted part that contacts the car, there is no scuffing the paint.
