It worked great for my full size Dan Wesson. Very easy to put on. These are for full size 1911s with magwell. I appreciate that these grips come with bushings and screws along with the tool so you are all set and ready to go. I hate that Vesey grift sells theirs for $70 and on top of that you have to purchase the screws. That’s ridiculous, don’t go any further and purchase these

At first, I was concerned about the wide cutout for the magazine release, now I like it better than any other cutouts. The top ridge of the cutout was a little uncomfortable on the knuckle of my thumb, so I sculpted it down with a jewelers file and now it’s perfect. These are easy to customize.

The gray and black looks fantastic on a stainless 1911. The ridges in the grip panel ensure a lot of positive control over the firearm. I replaced smooth wood grip panels with these because I did not like the feel of the smooth surface.
