LEXO Temperature Mug - 10 oz, Active Flat Top Lid, Stainless Steel

I have so long struggled with coffee or tea initially being too hot, and then cooling through the optimum range too quickly to comfortably drink it. This device uses a phase-change material to almost immediately drop the temperature to 140°F and then keeps it there for well past the time I take to drink it. It's especially nice that I can make a cup of tea and start drinking it almost immediately after pouring it into this bottle.I rate this five stars because it's so close to perfect for me and solves the problem brilliantly. It does have some downsides that may affect your decision, however.1. 10oz is a little small - I tended to drink 12-16oz of coffee or tea before I got this. My understanding is the company is working on a larger version, and I'll probably buy it when it comes out.2. 140° is a little cooler than my girlfriend likes her coffee. It's almost perfect, perhaps even a little hot, for me but she likes hers very hot. If you like yours hotter than most you may find this a little too cool.3. The stopper lid doesn't pivot completely out of the way, so it presses on the bridge of your nose a bit when you're drinking. Perhaps I just haven't found the secret, but I wish it could be flipped all the way out of the way.4. It's surprisingly heavy. That's not a particular downside for me, but you should be aware of it.Despite these limitations, I would eagerly buy it again because it solves the problem so well.

Wonderful temperature control! Quickly cools down too-hot coffee to drinking temperature, then keeps it there for many hours. Perfect for the office but I wouldn't want to lug it around due to its weight.One star off for the following:1. It is heavier than you might expect due to its temperature control materials.2. The flip top makes it difficult to drink down to the last drop without tilting your head way back. (I took the flip top off. )

I bought this as a gift for my wife, who loves to nurse her coffee for several hours. She claims this will bring the temp down to safe drinking levels, and keep it that way for some time. Her only complaints are the above average weight (this is not just a vacuum insulated tumbler, is has some hefty heat absorbing material in it), the opening on top is just a bit weird, and if your drink doesn't start out super hot, it might cool the drink off just a little bit too much. On the plus side, regarding the weight, she insists it could be thrown for self defense if need be.

The mug does keep the coffee hot for hours, like nothing I've ever seen. The lid is the worst thing I have ever seen. I just poured coffee all over myself about 5 times. It's impossible. The two stage is just wrong. On pour position it hits your forehead. On drinking position the opening is so large and wide that the liquid just falls all over you over the sides. Considering the cost, the worst I've ever had. It's unusable.

I like tea, but my whole life I've either burned my tongue or left it to cool and forgotten about it. I read about the Lexo in the newspaper and ordered it immediately through Amazon. I love it! I carry it around d all day and sip contentedly--it's always the right temp and the tea always tastes great. There is never any metallic, thermos-y taste.

Almost perfect. Make sure you buy the one with a lid you don't have to remove to drink from. Otherwise, this is a great cup and really does keep a drink the right temp.

Wife has been testing these guys for years, she says this might be "the one"! not too hot, not too cold.Handy for the car and at work. Should last too, well built.

Very cool product. It does what it says it will do. The tumbler is a bit heavy, but I guess that is what it takes to bring hot water to a drinkable temperature and keep it there for 8 hours.
