This little lamp base is awesome! It’s the perfect mix of industrial and modern, with a nice gold finish that really adds some style to my desk. I love how it’s small but still feels super sturdy—no wobbling at all!The 6-foot cord gives me plenty of room to move it around, and the on/off switch on the cord is really handy. I needed a new light base for my ceramic Christmas tree. This was perfect and just the right size. The on/off switch is a nice added convenience.

I have a hard time calling this anything approaching "industrial" because this table light bulb base (I also have a hard time calling it a "lamp" base considering it's size and wight) is not heavy-duty by any metric I can think of.As I indicate in the video, this looks great overall - and I especially like how consistent the finish it both the paper thin metal circular base and E26/E27 light bulb socket. Both looks smooth and consistent in the black treatment. It'll be easy to dust and wipe clean for years to come.Having done some, but not lots of research on similar items, I have to assume the price for one of these feels a little off, but honestly I don't know if the competition is just as light-weight as this is. For me, I was anticipating something at least as heavy as a couple large marshmallows, so maybe I need to adjust my expectations.In short, it works great and looks good. Just don't subject it to a stiff wind once you install light bulb.

Just what I needed

This basic little lamp is a quick and easy way to add light. It might be a bit harsh as a bedside lamp since there is no shade, but it's great for in a bookshelf. It's small and easy to travel with, too. I like bringing my own lamps when I travel so that I can have something more dim/nighttime friendly than usual hotel lighting. The lamp base has a little bracket and it comes with hardware so you could mount it vertically on a wall if you wanted to. Overall a great buy if you need to add a bit of light on a budget!
