High-end restaurant quality and so easy!
I live in California and love all the higher end Mexican cuisine here; I just never know how to make it at home. I was thrilled to discover the “Ya Oaxaca” mole sauce 3-pack. Each jar in this pack – Negro, Coloradito, and Rojo – is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Oaxaca.Negro: A delightful blend of chiles and spices that creates a beautifully balanced and rich flavor. It’s perfect for those who love a classic mole experience.Colorado: This sauce offers a unique twist on the traditional mole, with a slightly sweeter profile that complements a variety of dishes. I usually don’t like sweeter moles but this one is more subtle and works well.Rojo: My personal favorite. The smokiness and spiciness of this sauce are impeccably balanced, making it a versatile addition to any meal. Wow! Just wow! This is delicious! Whoever gave it less than 5 stars simply don’t understand a good molé! Buy it, you will love it…I marinaded some chicken cutlets in it for a couple of hours, sautéed some shallots and garlic and dropped them in. Added some more sauce on some good tortillas with cilantro and a little sour cream and feasted! Even my picky 14 y.o. Loved them.

Inedible
Mole’ sauce can be delicious. This one, unfortunately, is not. We so disliked it that we threw away the enchiladas we used it for and ate none of them. Just very - off.

Delicious and quick
Rich delicious flavors with very little time. And a very clean ingredient list - no huge pile of additives here! So surprise gluten or soy like some other companies have been adding. I've been using it most to make a quick and dirty one-pan meals so I can attest it doesn't need a long simmer; a few minutes while I cook everything else in it is just fine. But I'm sure it would make wonderful slow-cooked enchiladas too. It's packed with flavor so a little goes a long way. About 2 Tbsp mole for 3 pseudo-enchiladas has been a good ratio for me. I love their mole negro as well, but this one edges it out slightly for day-to-day. I've got to be in just the right mood for the darker one.

Mole Negro
The best store self mole negro I've had yet. Not perfect but still quite good. Used it on chicken & felt like something was missing. All in all good.Last fall I tried to make mole(negro) sauce and it took me ALL day & used many pots & fry pans. Seriously labor intensive not to mention trying to find all the ingredients - 3 Mexican groceries stores later....Anyway, as it turns out it wasn't all that. Later I find out from old school Mexican cooks that the recipe I was using was lacking. Now I know I need different peppers & more ingredients. MAYBE I'll try it again. So, I am trying more jar Mole (negro mainly) but I also have this one Roja. And will be trying.

Best mole 8’ve had in a long while!!
Omg this was sooo good!! Super easy just heat & it’s ready. I made it with shredded carnitas (chicken allergy). Everyone loves it!! Can wait to get more!
