This was used while hiking in the rain, including a downpour, on several occasions. While it’s not as fancy as some, it works and is very lightweight while packing small. My 14yo son stayed dry and there was no excessive condensation inside. 4 stars just because there are few features (no pit zips for example), but a solid budget choice.

I was going to return this rain jacket because I made a mistake by ordering it and I didn't noticed that it's for women. I opened the package and I tried it on and to my surprise: This actually FITS ME! So I decided to keep it. Then it started to rain moderately this afternoon so what is a great amazon consumer do!? He goes out and TESTS the products he ordered from amazon. I went out wearing this riding my bicycle in the rain. This lightweight rain coat really did it's job and it kept the water out completely! The material of this lightweight raincoat is much exactly the same as an umbrella's skin is which is lightweight and virtually impervious to water. I was out for a good hour and a half in the pouring rain and I was watchful IF any water would seep inside my inner shirt and it didn't. Then I went home, this rain coat off and hanged it along with my rain pants for the next adventure. I'm glad I purchased this because it's already on the way to the winter season and that means a lot of rain here in the Bay Area in California. I highly recommend this rain coat for i already tried it and it passed with flying colors!

I first ordered the Large based on their size chart. I can fit two people in this Large . It is way too big.The Large is actually an extra extra large.Their medium is actually a small. The seller is obviously not using US sizes for his product. So I'm returning the Medium and keeping the Large ONLY because I have a scheduled trip and need a rain poncho now. Won't buy from this seller again.

I have used this raincoat twice, you should have seen the first time i was looking in the bag for it confused, i didnt know that the bag folds into the raincoat!!! how cute is that! compact easy to clip on my cart for when shopping or put away heck even clip it on my back pack purse! it is a rain coat and has kept me dry quite a few times! Only thing missing on this is a hood OMG how great it would be with a hood!! (it has one i am just to much of a newbie to find it plus i am not a hood wearer) i have had a few portable rain coats and they all ripped so you know i was thinking and rolling my eyes at another rain coat, however i love love love it!*******UPDATE*******for those looking for the hood, when you fold your jacket out of its baggie, look at the collar, there is a zipper there for where the hood stuffs into!

Here is my experience with this jacket- 1) it is NOT a rain jacket,this is for fashion.if you need an inexpensive rain jacket for real-get a helly/hansen, an affordable option👍It does fit like a size and a half too small.the xxl is a big large(for me).the hood is weak.kinda pointy like an elf hat..this is more like a light wind/workout, maybe summer night time kind of jacket. Definitely a “get what you pay for” item✌️

Its a good jacket and it can be stored as a packet in your car trunk. The raincoat folds into a compact packet and is very lightweight. Whenever you need it (incase of rain or otherwise) just unpack it and wear it. Very sleek design and goes with all attires. It is waterproof. When you buy it, just go with the size chart in the original listing. You may choose to buy one size up depending upon your inner clothing. The hood is packed in a zipper over the collars.I can clip it to anything and go out. Comes in handy during rainy days in bay area.

This is exactly what we needed, however we ordered up a size to make sure it would fit over a medium size backpack. We quickly realized that ordering up a size was not necessary.

I bought t for fishing and when it rains I'm dry as a sponge. It works perfectly but I do get warm wearing it for a little. Otherwise I highly recommend it a lot.
