Make sure you purchase glue as well
Making these miniature rooms, houses and book nooks are a hobby of mine so I have a lot of them. This one is made for more advanced crafters. It's not incredibly hard, but includes a lot of DIY flowers, plants and leaves, which are no fun in my opinion. When you have to try and cut a small piece of fabric or paper (which you have to measure out and cut yourself), it's very hard to get it to look the way it's supposed to. You have to use little scissors and cut with precision. Not to mention, you need a lot of patience. This kit isn't impossible, just takes a lot of time and detail. The instructions are ok. They mention needing "tools", which are provided (one of the things I LIKE about this kit). But it doesn't mention anything about needing glue, which you absolutely DO need. What frustrates me is that they don't tell you what kind of glue you need. There are a lot of types of glue out there. This is priced at what you'd expect to pay at a hobby store. And I only recommend this to more advanced crafters or those who are ok with small detailed crafts.

Awesome but not for beginners
Totally enjoying this little project. It is complicated but so enjoyable to put together. I’ve completed over 10 of this type. This is the best

Absolutely Gorgeous
This set is absolutely gorgeous, however, is not for everyone. If you are looking for a craft that you can finish in an evening or two, this is not it. This set has tons of small pieces you need to cut, apply decorations to it, etc. It requires patience and finess. If you have none, or if it is your first time doing a miniature like this, do not get it. At least not until you have try some others. When you do this, proceed with when you have the time to commit to the project and plan to invest considerable time doing it if you want to do it right. It does not bring glue or batteries, so you have to provide that yourself. Other than that, it brings everything else you need, except patience. lol.If you succeed with the trial of building it, you will be rewarded with a very beautiful miniature greenhouse to admire and brag about.

Hanging garden puzzle
I feel totally overwhelmed by this puzzle. It seems so complicated. So many pieces…tons, lots of little details. It is beautiful but it will take me months to finish. It is daunting. It doesn’t feel like it will be fun.

No Glue In The Kit (Edited to reflect my error)
I’m a long time crafter, but first time miniaturist. So I know that there’s always a learning curve when you’re trying something new. But this set from Kvintes really threw me for a loop. After reading through the booklet and sorting all the pieces, I was still at a loss for how to actually start the project. So I went online, searched some things and watched some videos. That’s when it finally made sense; I needed glue and there was none in the kit! I thought this was especially odd considering that they include other tools like a box cutter and tweezers. So why omit arguably the most fundamental item?!Anyway, after going out and buying craft glue, I was finally able to start working, and it was harder than expected. There’s so much precision, dexterity and patience needed to assemble, cut and glue the pieces that I found myself getting frustrated almost as much as I was having fun. Suffice it to say, this is definitely a more niche and heavily involved craft than I anticipated. However, I love crafts and puzzles, and ultimately have enjoyed the process of assembling this greenhouseAs for the rating, I’m on the fence. In addition to the initial confusion and lack of glue, the pieces also have a chemical smell that took a while to dissipate. I’m not a fan of items that have chemical odors, so this area was surely an extra disappointment for me.Edit: I recently reviewed the listing again and saw it mention that glue is not included. So I’m going to modify my rating to 4 stars to reflect my oversight. However, there are other kits available on Amazon that include glue and batteries, so I’m not sure why they’re restricted for this company.

Loved this! NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FIRST TIMERS
I very much enjoyed doing this kit! However, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS AS YOUR FIRST GO INTO THESE. If you haven't done at least one of these before, this could be very frustrating to you. The instructions are quite minimal compared to kits more geared at being a starter kit. Additionally, you need to make some leaves and flowers from scratch but I didn't see any "templates" that would really help you figure out what you have to do to make it look like the instructions. I've done about a half dozen of these kits of various difficulties so I experience in making some of these plant parts before and have developed my own method.IF THIS ISN'T YOUR FIRST KIT - - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)You don't get glue with the kit but you do get a lot of other tools that will help you out. If you are patient, then modgepodge works just fine for all your glue needs. You will have to be patient as modgepodfe is not an instant dry glue. Instant dry glues would make this go a little faster but depending on your skill things may be wonky. I use my own exacto knife but the kit came with one. The scissors are ok, I tend to again use my own because of my experience. I do recommend you get a basic set of pliers to help with making/placing things. I would recommend you have a cutting plier, a jewelry round tip plier, and then a long- or short-needle nosed plier. This has also physically been my physically biggest kit so far. The details don't disappoint and the two tier wow factor is so awesome. Happy crafting!
