Took a while to get delivered. Given the product has a 5-year shelf life, slightly disappointed the product is 14 months old.

As an avid walker I carry this on my morning walks to ward off stray dogs. Most are non aggressive but every now & then one comes along that isn't & all it takes is a little squirt to discourage them. Great stuff.

As probably other reviewers have said, I have not actually used this. Mostly because random strangers wouldn't like for me to spray them with this, and I am not going to test it on myself. So that leaves me talking about the possibility of using this stuff. What I like: it's compact, instructions are straightforward, it has a long range and allows for 50 uses, it has a convenient belt clip for taking with you on a run or walk, and the spray contains a UV dye that marks any potential assailant for easier ID later on down the line if they get away. I keep this one by the front door, because we have had some vagrants through our neighborhood (one with a long machete hanging from his belt) and I want something non lethal on hand in the event I need it. My wife has one also that she keeps in her car and takes with her on walks and to and from the office.

This is a well made product. I purchased it for my wife to take on her drives to and from work. Luckily she has not had to use it, but it attaches easily to your keychain or the side of a purse for easy access.
