First ImpressionsThe Toncho was shipped pretty much straight after I placed my order (the benefits of using Amazon) and it arrived the next day to my surprise. It is packaged in a protective plastic sleeve which normally I hate but the manufacturer has really thought about it and made sure it is biodegradable! In fairness some sort of sleeve is necessary to protect it in storage so I’m glad they have considered the environment! The Toncho comes in a mesh carry case which really packs down well, I measured it and it comes out at 8cm in diameter by 18cm in length which is pretty much the same size as a rolled up t-shirt. For what is essentially two microfibre towels this is impressive. It is really light and I barely notice the weight in my rucksack. The mesh case seems robust enough but only time will tell.UsageI’ve been put off buying a traditional poncho towel for some time due to the bulky-ness of it so I was relieved when I came across a microfibre one. I took it surfing with me and for once I could change into my wetsuit without having to worry about exposing myself to the whole beach! It made drying off and changing into dry cloths hassle free. The coloured stitching on the Toncho is a nice touch and the stitching itself seems to be up to the job. The hood helped keep the wind off my wet hair.WashingI put the towel in the wash with my other beach cloths without thinking but thankfully the colours didn’t run. I’ve had cheaper “microfibre towels” in the past that have lost their colour on the first wash. The towel dried really quickly and didn’t show any signs of shrinking.DownsidesThere only seems to by the “Capri” blue colour which is common amongst a lot of microfibre towels. It would be nice to see some other colours in the range. I live near a very busy beach and can comfortably change in front of hundreds of people without worrying about flashing them all, thanks to this. Lightweight, dries quickly, & is nice & easy to stash in your average daybag alongside a bikini in the case the sun comes out. I live in the UK where sunshine can be fleeting, and you have to seize sunny moments quickly before they pass! This is perfect for those impromptu moments. Highly recommend.

This product is nice and light and small to carry. But it is a little plain. I think a pattern of some sort might have been nice, but don't suppose that is possible. I look a bit stupid in it, to be honest, but it does the job.

This is brilliant! My toncho arrived in a handy little bag, it folds up nice and small so easy and light to carry to the beach. It's lovely and soft and plenty of room to get changed underneath. And its pretty!!! And no annoying towel fluff. Perfect!

This is a fantastic little product - packs really small and is very lightweight, but functions just like a regular beach towel / robe. Very quick and easy to use and maintain. And no more shocks for the general public when I change!

It's lovely and lightweight, easy to carry, easy to put on and great for getting changed underneath but in terms of absorbance it's rubbish! I wear it when I go swimming with my little one to keep me warm whilst I change her after being in the pool but it gets so wet that she gets wet in the process so doesn't really help matters!!

I had been looking for something like this for a long time; hated having to take a bulky beach towel that just picks up all the sand! Not had chance to use it yet, but the microfiber towel material seems really good quality and lovely and soft to the touch.I went for the blue trim option which goes really well.

This is absolutely perfect - lightweight and compact. I've used it after open water swim and as we have to dress by the car, I'm not frightening the local wildlife.I'm just over 5'4" about 10st, and have plenty of room to dress
