I bought the Ulike IPL device (the black version designed for men), and I’ve been genuinely impressed with the results. My first device had a lens issue, and they replaced it without any hassle. First I would like to point out that this company has an excellent customer support. They follow up with every buyer providing useful instructions and help troubleshoot problems if any.As I said, it will work for some people, it does reduce hair. But again, I tried for a month and after that went to the professional laser hair removal with just 40-50 minute session (just ONE) I got the results that I would estimate take half a year of recommended every other day sessions with IPL (it does consume a lot of time). And the laser was totally painless compared to what you get with this product. Will not say pain is unbearable, totally tolerable. Just point that laser is painless compared to it.The price of Ulike is $400, cost of one full body session with laser near New York City $450. I will not be attaching pictures of laser hair removal since it might be taken as advertisement for this product.So it's not a budget solution, considering the amount of time to be spent (you must shave before each session, don't forget), also pain. Cost of laser hair removal is highly exaggerated.Even the current sale for $300 doesn't make it much better. I would rather spend $1500 for two years of being hair free hours with professional laser solution. Just think about 500 – 800 hours (2hrs: shave/IPL every other day) with Ulike. If you spend that time doing overtime at work, cost of professional laser treatment is easily justified.But do your research about professional laser hair removal, and don't get caught in the money extortion schemes that some spas employ.UPDATE:I am attempting to use IPL this particular device in between laser sessions. I am starting now and will keep you posted on the progress.

First time I used it it stopped after 20 minutes and that was it. Thankfully, it did it right away instead of doing it after the 30 days. Their 30 day policy is really crap. Let’s face it most electronics that are breakable don’t break in the first 30 days. They need to do something about their policy.

I have been using the Ulike X for two weeks now and I have been able to see a slight difference. I originally had bought the Air10 model and even though I saw a slight hair reduction I was having problems in targeting the areas that have thicker and darker hair. With the Ulike X these areas are easier treat, but it does come with a slighter increase in the pain level. I still believe that the Ulike X is worth it and a lot cheaper than going to a place to get laser hair removal.

To be honest this actually works. I did half of my body as a test and there was such a legitimate difference. The max setting feels like a true in-office treatment and this significantly lightening my freckles as well.

I’ve had this unit for about 6 months and I couldn’t not be happier with the results! My entire body is hair free and now the follow up treatments are completely painless! The cooling technology is a game changer. I had previously purchased a different brand they did not have this feature and I’m burnt my skin! The Ulike X has never caused any burns.
