Too many minus points to make this a good buy!
Good points – the tablet is thin and relatively light, and it is good to have 2 operating systems to choose from. The screen display on either platform is clean and crisp. The available time on the battery before needing a charge is reasonable – around 8 hours of general use.Bad points – the WiFi reception range is incredibly small – less than 10metres especially if there is a wall in the way. This is less than any other phone or tablet I have used and really limits this tablets usefulness.I bought this tablet specifically because it has a micro HDMI socket. I assumed that this would mean an almost seamless connection with my TV for video streaming – wrong! Although there is a micro HDMI socket, it does not perform well when connected to a TV by an HDMI lead; the video signal is often unavailable or stutters to the point where it is unwatchable. I have also tried to connect to a TV with Chromecast and it often fails to pick up a connection, or fails before a signal can be transmitted.Despite the crisp display, both front and rear cameras are low resolution and the result is that they tend to give a blurry appearance to pictures. To me, this tablet has serious shortcomings, and I consider it to be overpriced as a result.I cannot recommend this tablet.

Great buy!
One of the best and cheapest dual-boot tablets that you can get right now (brand new one). You've got a choice between Teclast, Pipo and Chuwi. Two first ones are available on AliExpress. Why shouldn't you buy there? First Chuwi that I've ordered had a screen defect (brighter spot in one place), so I've returned it, got my money back and during this period bought another one. It's great! You've got Windows, Android, you can squeeze Linux (Mint for me) on the eMMC as well taking some space from Windows partition and installing rEFIND as your boot manager. This is one of the best things that you can have, if it's an emergency or if you're gonna use it on a daily basis. Watching movies in bed, doing some light work or something else. Add a bluetooth keyboard and you're good to go! Don't forget to add the original case, it's just around £12 and it can hold not only your tablet, but your keyboard as well (magnet). They say that people aren't using tablets anymore, yeah, no. There are people who don't want to drag even the lightest laptops with them. 8 inch tablet is a perfect size. One of the best buys on Amazon. Device itself is great, screen quality is really good, sound is ok (mono speaker), camera... well, let's just say that it's there. The front gets the job done (video conversations). Battery holds for around 5-6h on 50% brightness and doing some light work. What else would you possibly want from a thin and small device as this one? Buy it, it's well worth it!

What a waste of money...
The worst tablet around the house. I have linx vision 8 which required some fiddling to update(upgrade) windows, but heck, this one causes me a headache even after the update. Literally nothing loads. Can barely receive the wifi signal upstairs. Had to delete android partitions in order to make some space for windows update, but even then I had to use 3rd party software to move the C drive to the right of unallocated space. At first I got 32bit os iso thinking that I'd be able to increase overall performance at the cost of a bite of RAM memory, but will have to get usb dongle to do that as there's only one usb port and in order to install 32bit I need to have connected USB flash drive with os and keyboard to boot into bios and select boot device. If anyone's wondering it's F7.Now before I even thought of updating, I tried both os'es in order to see which one performs better. Sadly they both were dissapointingly underperforming in terms of internet use. Takes minutes to load a single page. Android was unable to connect with google services which prevented me from adding a google account. Due to flexibility in customization and ease of troubleshooting I picked windows 8 and deleted all of the partitions created for android in hopes that update will bring these critical improvements that pre installed software wasn't able to provide.Generally the only good point about this tablet is it's screen resolution, but that's as far as it goes. I do get that my vision 8 is running 1280x800 in comparison to Hi8 Air's 1920x1080 which reduces the power consumption and improves performance, but I reduced the resolution to 1280x800 and nothing happened if didn't got worse.Bought this tablet for my neighbour and wanted to make things as simple as possible, but damn, this tablet ain't worth a penny for what it's main use would've been. Totally dissapointed in this product as specifications are identical with my vision 8 except the screen size and resolution difference. Sure vision ain't a powerhouse, but it get's the job done, I was able to even play COD:MW2 on it, but this one shouldn't even be legal to sell because it's a complete waste of resources and time that people took to produce it.If you're looking for a proper windows 8 tablet that will let you watch movies and in general just browser the web and play some casual games then go for linx. Even if my experience with them is not rich, I still was impressed in the power my one was able to deliver. This surely ain't a kids tablet nor adults as it can not do a simple job that any tablet should be able to undertake with ease!
