Deep Thrush Gel - Treats Deep Sulcus Thrush - Effective Against White Line - Deep Sulcus Infection

Groom’s Hand thrush solution and deep thrush gel are the absolute best products for thrush, sulcus thrush and white line infections “hands down”! I have used everything from kopertox to plain iodine and everything in between. Nothing compares to the effectiveness and easy application of these two products. Other thrush remedies tend to be extremely messy, slow to dry and require frequent reapplication because they don’t stay on especially in wet weather which is usually when you need them most. Grooms hand thrush spray stays on for days and the gel penetrates into the crack and crevasses that are impossible to reach with any other product. To top it off, the can has a hoof pick built in which is very convenient and the price far less than all the others. Let’s just say, 5 stars aren’t enough. Don’t waste your money on any other product!

A move to a new state, some lackluster trims, and a very wet winter led to my mare getting a terrible case of deep sulcus thrush. The cracks in her heels were nearly 2 inches deep and bleeding. I tried a variety of other thrush treatments with little success, mostly because the cracks were so deep it was impossible to get the treatment in to where the problem was. I bought this deep thrush gel because I liked the idea of the straw to get the medicine where it needed to be and it has worked wonders on my mare's feet. I could tell the cracks were getting more shallow after about a week of daily application and after a second week of daily application I could actually see a difference in her heels. A few more weeks of every other day application and a good trim had her feet almost back to normal. And most of that time she was turned out in a muddy field (unescapable in the winter, unfortunately), so this works in all weather conditions (it's very sticky). I only wish there was some indicator for how much is left in the can so it was easier to know when to order more. For reference, one can would last me about a week with daily generous application to all four feet (deep cracks in both front, shallow in both hind). If you're dealing with deep sulcus thrush, I highly recommend giving this a shot, it's the only thing that made a difference for my mare.

This stuff is hands down absolutely amazing! Super easy to apply, no smell, no staining, no getting all over the place and best of all it works!! I use it in my own barn and as a farrier I suggest using this on the deep frog cracks and nothing tops it!!

The nozzle is no longer working after only 3 uses and no returns so money wasted.

It was a lot more liquidy than I expected, so very messy and went everywhere. The little straw attachments didn't stay in the nozzle and there was a lot of waste as a result. Can't yet say how well it works.

I have used the spray and the gel. I like both. Prefer the spray but if you have a deep infection the gel nozzle makes it easy to get the gel deeper. The plastic hoof pic is worthless and broke off when I have used them but it is a clever idea.

Works fantastic! As a farrier of 25+ years, nothing beats thrush faster than copper sulfate. Grooms hand deep thrush gel is one of the easiest ways to apply it.
