Easy to program!

I bought two and used the weird but effective process of pairing them to my Quest. One of the two lasted for a couple of years or more, then stopped working despite fresh batteries. The second worked until I sold it a few months ago, but the battery contact on the outside had become detached from the case, and wanted to mis-align or not permit the case to close properly. Another longer-term item is that the slot that accepts a key ring had one half crack and break off.Range was good. Instructions to pair with my vehicle were clear but Nissan did not make the many steps simple.Both the remotes I bought functioned well and remained intact for a time. I would buy again, if I still drove an internal combustion vehicle. You can pair multiple remotes to the same Nissan Quest at a time.

Got remote today and tried the online instructions. Had to create an account. Then it wanted a credit card number , it says you want be charged and it's 100% free.. Not wanting to put a card number where it's shouldn't be cause it's "free" , I looked at the screen shot of another review. Tried it several times to no avail.. So went back to the "free" instructions on how to program the remote. Even put my card info in.. Said my card would work.. Then I get a message from my bank saying suspicious fraud alert.. So I go thru my bank questions on my card and seems like a $34.98 charge was applied from clicfuz.. So keep answering bank questions and end up having my card locked up till I call the bank..So keep an eye on your account and see if you've been charged without knowing it

Was really miffed that the website this company refers you to didn't have the programming instructions for my truck (2014 Nissan Frontier) Had to find the instructions elsewhere. Remote works great and I'm happy for the price.Instructions for a 2014 Nissan Frontier:Close and Lock DoorsCLOSE and LOCK all doors with the Driver’s Side Power Lock/Unlock Switch.Insert Key 6XINSERT key into Ignition and REMOVE it 6 times in 10 seconds (Do NOT Turn). The Hazard Lamps will FLASH to indicate successful entry into Programming Mode.Insert KeyINSERT key into Ignition and TURN to the ACC position.Program First RemoteWITHIN 5 seconds, PRESS the LOCK button on the first remote to be programmed. The Hazard Lamps will FLASH to indicate successful programming of the remote.Program Second RemoteFor any additional remotes to be programmed — UNLOCK and then LOCK all doors using the Driver’s Side Power Lock/Unlock Switch. WITHIN 5 seconds, PRESS the LOCK button on the next remote to be programmed.
