Levi's Men's 527 Slim Bootcut Jeans

Tried something different from black, given the fit of the model.Color is nice, fit is fine as well (which is not to be taken for granted even you keep buying the same size).Overall good choice.

It's hard to accurately assess this item because the product comes up as two different "names" on Amazon. In the past, my purchases have been for "Levi's Mens 527 Bootcut Jeans." Now, that same product link takes me to "Levi's Mens 527 Slim Bootcut Jeans." (Note the subtle addition of "Slim.") Numerous reviewers have noted this issue.My first three or four pairs were great! No issues. Five stars! They're - by far - my favorite type of jean. Since discovering the 527 line, I've become a Levi boy through-and-through. The jeans have a flattering fit, they're very durable, and they come in a variety of colors and styles. I have yet to find any jeans to beat them.That said... when I went to order more (January of 2013), I noticed the product's name changed. Even if I click the item straight from my past purchases (which has no note of "Slim"), it took me to "slim" 527s. Reviewing the jeans in my closet, I can find no note of "slim." However, there's very little note of anything on them - other than "Levi 527." Assuming that Amazon wouldn't simply change the product name, I went ahead and ordered two more.The pairs that I ordered seem noticeably smaller. I vaguely remember past pairs starting off "snug" before being broken in. After some stretching and washing, they eventually end up fitting perfectly! However, these new pairs seem much smaller than I remember (a.k.a. "borderline uncomfortable"). I'm giving them a shot to see how they shape up, but I'm pretty convinced they really *are* a different type from the first - hence the new addition of "Slim." Why it suddenly changed? I have no idea...The most recent order (the "Slims") also have no note of "Slim" on the actual product's tags, etc... Thus, it makes it impossible to know if they're any different from the past ones I've ordered. With clothing, there are so many factors. (e.g. In what country was this specific pair produced? Could it be a bad batch? Have a grown/shrunk? Etc.. etc...)Long story short... To my knowledge, I know and love "Levi's Mens 527 Bootcut Jeans." They get my five-star. I think there are some new slim ones running around. The slim ones may now be all that you can technically order via Amazon, because I presently see no other options for the "regular" ones.Stay tuned... =]

I would say these are not the best pants Levi has made. Some of them have funny cuts for the seams. It's like the pant leg is twisted because of the way it was cut/sewn together. My husband also complains that they don't fit over his boots. So not truly bootcut.

Item fits true to size...especially the boot cut...jeans are comfortable.....can not go wrong with Levi's

These jeans were the wrong size they came smaller than I thought I'll reorder a larger pair. Never go wrong with Levi's

I ordered 3 pairs (different washes) of these Levi 527 "slim bootcut" jeans. My first time ordering these jeans online rather than buying in-store, and I regret it as I'm disappointed with and returning all 3! The first thing is, they come in a thin clear plastic bag. I've never had any clothes come like that, and in this day and age with how people steal, it seems careless to not put these orders in a white or black bag. The other issues: one pair labeled "stretch" (Quickstep wash) are not at all stretchy... in fact, the denim feels stiff and rough, like they wouldn't feel good against your skin. Secondly, the ones I got run extremely small and don't fit well at all. I wear a size 30" waist in 3-4 different brands - I actually need a belt for some, yet I could barely get these Levi's on and needed at least 2-3 extra inches to even button them up! Next, one pair ("Deep Down Below") arrived with the tag saying "standard bootcut". And they fit as such, loose in the thigh/leg. The other two pairs say "slim bootcut", and all have the 527 label on them. Why are the standard fit ones labeled as something they're not?? That's just dishonest marketing. Lastly, the pictures online look much more dramatic than what I received (two of mine looked almost completely dark blue in color yet showed a nice light fading in the pictures). Makes me wonder where the heck these are coming from and who is making them as there is obviously no quality control. All are being returned, what a waste of time...

Tengo años usando este modelo, lo malo es que Amazon no tenga más colores, la tela stretch es de lo más cómoda y ma ajusta muy bien.

Farbe ist sehr schön ,passen sie auch wie erwartet aber für 100€ habe ich richtige Jeans erwartet nicht so ein dunes Material.

Schönes Material, man erkennt gleich die bessere Qualität. Sehr gut geschnitten. Macht Spaß damit. Wollte erst 33/34 nehmen, gab aber nur 32/34, sitzt wie mit 16, Scharfschützengang inkl.

Lange Lieferung und viel zu klein,hab ich so bei Levis noch nie gehabt.
