Cute
This is cute stationary (I got the mermaid variety) for a tween or young teen girl. There are two varieties of paper, two varieties of envelope, and some stickers. The description says it's in a gift box, which is being generous - it's more of a flimsy folder. I foresee the paper and/or envelopes slipping toward the center and being creased before this is used up. (I'd have preferred for the folder to be sturdier, even if it meant not including stickers - letter stickers are always of limited usefulness anyway since you run out of popular letters first.) My other complaint is that one of the two patterns of paper is going to be hard to write on due to the bright colors used in the design. The product pictures are not really accurate, they seem to have dulled down the colors for their own pics. Take a look at my picture of the two paper varieties to see how bright the mermaid tail and orange/yellow/green/purple images in the background are. The second paper design is much more suitable for writing over. The envelopes also use the bright colors, but the presence of a large bubble on each gives room for the address without it being hard to read. Overall I think this stationary set is cute, but could be improved with a better folder and more useable second paper pattern.
