This was a cute read
Okay this read was way better then the first book. I loved Hardy and Everly. Their banter back and forth will keep you entertained. I did have to feel for Everly however when she thought her crush on Hardy was finally going to be reciprocated but instead of him asking her out he asked her to help him win back his ex. Dreams crushed she was a good sport and tried to help him. Turns out Everly and his ex Maple became friends so she tried harder. Everyone around these two (Hardy & Everly) saw they should be together. It took Hardy a bit and his friends telling him including his ex that he didn't want her and they never had what they all saw with him and Everly. Cute read but guys are so oblivious when it comes to the heart. LOL Now I get to dive into Hudson's & Sloane's read. This should be interesting.

Hudson is clueless!
Everly Plum works for Magical moments by Maggie as a wedding planner and sometimes as a Bridesmaid. Maggie married Brody in the previous book. Maggie has two brothers, Hudson and Hardy. Hardy is the fun loving, down to earth brother and Hudson is the hard working corporate-type.Everly has had a secret crush on Hudson since she met him. Hudson is the best man. They meet to discuss Magical moments by Maggie’s newest client for the wedding of Polly and Ken. Polly’s bridesmaid is relocating back to town and is nervous and unprepared to do all the things necessary to make Polly’s celebration great, so in walks Everly to help with the preparations.Everly was so nervous when she met with Hudson to discuss the wedding preparations that when he asked her to help him “reconnect with Polly”, a previous love interest of his, she thought Hudson was asking her out instead. But, as a competent professional, Everly is prepared to help Hudson get his happy ever after even though Polly has stated she is not interested in reconnecting with Hudson. Everly and Hudson go undercover with code names and secret plans to gain information and finds ways to get Hudson and Polly back together. The book is really cute as the different members of their social group interact. Quirky matchmaking meetings occur with miss-haps and misunderstandings that seem to stall the matchmaking process. There are lots of laughs between the group.

slow start.. fun fun fun book
It was a slow start for me… even stopped for a couple of weeks and went back. Glad I didn’t give up because it was an awesome read. All of Meghan’s books have humor in them that makes you addicted!

Her other books are better
I wanted to love this book since I have very much enjoyed others by this author. The first half was charming and funny. You know how this is going to end, but not how. Then it veers into long and steamy sex scenes that are largely distractions and make the book way too long. I should have skipped to the last two chapters about 2/3 of the way through. Still worth a read if you are looking for a distraction.

Great Progression
This was a pretty great story to me! I loved the progression of the relationship between Hardy and Everly! Meghan Quinn is again one of the funniest writers I’ve encountered. I especially loved Hardy’s little existential crisis as he came to realize his feelings. It was quite comical. I did not like the conflict of this story though and I felt that the way Everly handled the conflict was not genuine to her character. It felt like a huge departure from her development. And then the 180 in her behavior at the end after one conversation also seemed disingenuous. I would have liked to see both of the characters handle this conflict better and in a more believable way. Overall though, this book was enjoyable, comical, and swoon worthy. I would recommend it!

Loved this one!
Hardy and Everly! This couple is the definition of perfectly imperfect. Unfortunately, the Mmc is the very definition of “men don’t use their brains.” This story is perfect, light hearted and filled with all the feels. I was mad, happy, and had the hearts in my eyes! Meghan Quinn can do no wrong and this series is so good!

Hilarity ensues once again
In what's turning out to be a heck of a stressful week, Meghan Quinn has come to the rescue with the second novel in her Bridesmaid for Hire series. Yep, I seriously needed a laugh, and Bridesmaid Undercover delivered. This can be read as a standalone, but I'm one of those people who prefer reading books in a series in order, and if you're like me and you've read the series starter, then you'll recall that Everly Plum and Hardy Hopper were supporting characters. Everly was Maggie Mitchell's assistant and is now the head of Magical Moments by Maggie's Bridesmaid for Hire division. On the other hand, Hardy is part of the Cane-Hopper Cooperative which is an investor in Magical Moments. And now, Everly and Hardy are getting their shot at a happy ending, with some major shenanigans on the way to getting there.Everly Plum was entrusted to take charge of the Bridesmaid for Hire program at work, and she's relishing the opportunity to make it a success. When one of Magical Moments' investors, reaches out and requests Everly's help with his friends' upcoming nuptials, she doesn't hesitate. Hardy Hopper, however, needs a bit of extra assistance... His ex is the maid of honor, and this best man is hoping Everly can help him get back together with said ex. That shouldn't be too much of a big deal...except Everly's got a thing for the billionaire businessman. She can't act on her feelings, especially because she's intent on being a professional...but what if the chemistry between them is just too strong to resist, and maybe, just maybe, Hardy could now have a thing for her as well?I laughed. A LOT. We're talking about a mix of giggles, snickers, and guffaws. I can always count on Meghan Quinn to never skimp on the humor, but she doesn't allow that humor to overwhelm the romance either. She also manages to sneak in a smattering of angst, and I'm never going to complain about having angst in the romances I read--as long as it's done well and not just drama for the sake of drama, of course. Everly and Hardy were a joy. Yes, they had their issues, and not everything was smooth sailing, but I like seeing growth in main characters and those moments of realization make me feel that they're finally getting their act together. Four stars for Bridesmaid Undercover.
