So Charming!
I've had the Landchy pagoda in my garden for a few weeks now, and it's truly a splendid addition. Crafted from dark grey resin, it's incredibly lightweight and can be easily moved and placed. The pagoda is impressively large and makes a bold statement. I've enjoyed finding the perfect spot for it in my yard and moving it around, it definitely looks better surrounded by vegetation. It's the kind of piece that demands its own spotlight! I adore my Landchy pagoda; I just wish it had a light at the top to make it perfect. Nevertheless, there are many solar lights available that I might customize. Still, this doesn't diminish the pagoda's amazing presence.

Exactly what we wanted
We haven’t placed this yet but it’s exactly what we wanted. Only one issue: there aren’t any drainage holes in the bottom, so I’ll need to drill them myself.

A gorgeous focal piece for your Zen garden/walk
This is the "right" size, first of all: it is large enough to have presence and unlike some others that are intended to be evocative of a Japanese Zen garden while only standing 12-15" tall - like table miniatures. This is large enough to be seen and truly give the impression of a special place. The casting is very clean with no mold lines or cracks to be seen. The details are finite enough to be detailed, without being "fussy". I'm not sure if I'm brave enough, but I may try to machine the top off so that I could insert a low-voltage "candle" light in the lantern itself. That would move this from excellent to truly exquisite!I should note that I liked this enough to order two of them, and while they are a matching set clearly of the same mold (and both nicely finished), the actual finish patina on them differs for some reason. One is a dull more monochrome grey, while the other has some lighter patina highlights. They will be far enough apart that I think few casual observers would notice, but just something to take note of. I ordered mine at two different times, so perhaps I got two from different manufacturing batches; if so, I would suggest ordering a pair at once if you want two of them. It's a beautiful piece, to be sure.

there's no way to light this
We bought this thinking it was a lantern - meaning it could light up a path at night. Not only is there no light or electrical source, there is no way to put one in. The top has no opening. Great as decoration. Unusable as light source.

Beautiful
Update- I got this installed with a light. I had to drill a hole in the bottom for that. A diamond hole saw works great. The material is fiberglass reinforced plaster, so the bit went right through. The fiberglass reduces the risk of cracking. This looks great lit up.---This is a relatively standard size clay Japanese lantern. These originate from China, and were originally found at Buddhist temples before spreading into Japan. If you are a fan of Asian decor, you'll love this. This looks great in person, and it looks like stone/natural. This is painted cast ceramic. Being ceramic, be careful with this. This could possibly break if hit wrong. This is hollow, so it is easy to lift. The bottom on this is solid which is a disappointment. I plan to use a diamond bit to make a hole. I plan on inserting a LED into this; it'll look amazing lit.Overall this seems like a good value after searching around. I am incredibly tempted to buy more outright.

Beautiful Statue
This really classed up my rock garden. It is an impressive size, and the resin work looks just like stone. Though quite a bit lighter than if it were stone, it's still strong and sturdy, and heavy enough to stay in place, even when wild animals bump into it or such. We are beyond grateful to have it and bet most folks would feel the same way if they're already eying it. It's a wonderful piece of sculpture.

Pretty nice
Came with a few nicks around the bottom but aside from that I am very pleased. Pics reflect the actual product!

Garden statue
As soon as I saw this item, I knew that I wanted it and I knew exactly where I wanted to put it. Not only did it work, it looks like it is part of the garden! It was not so heavy that I couldn't carry it on my own, and it came with no visible scratches or dents. This looks great in front of my house, so now I am on the prowl for similar looking statues to add.
