Good quality vinyl, used on wood
I bought this for a very unusual and probably not intended use, I use my PC in my man cave gaming room, I have looked for many lap stands for keyboard and mouse, previously I was using lap lapworks keyboards & mouse board, it was plastic and it folds, we'll it broke, so now I have a piece of wood measured 24×18 inches that I want to use as my lap stand, it's large enough to carry my full size Razer black widow keyboard and Razer mamba mouse, pluses hold my phone, coffee cup and vape mod, I know am lazy, but I needed something to make this piece of wood look better and a bit stylish, applying the wrap was a bit tricky since it's too soft, if you are used to 3M wraps you know what I mean, the thickness is to small, the finish doesn't feel like carbon fiber although it looks like it, it does need a little bit of time and effort to get it on perfectly, but I wasn't looking for that neither, I would cover this with my inked gaming custom keyboard & mouse Matt, but this was a good purchase and it was good for what I actually got it for, looks really good too, let's see how long it would hold up I might update later on, the left peices will go into my cars interior panels just to test and see how it looks and fits, will probably update this review

good match for desk
Exact match for the VITESSE desk I purchased, had to make a cable tray under the desk. Pictures to come.Product was stabbed by a pen or like, when arrived, no big deal I will plan the scrap area around it Otherwise seems exactly what they said, quality, not 3m,

Looks great, hard to avoid bubbles
This product looks very nice. The only downside about it that makes it a 4 star is, it is very hard to avoid getting bubbles under it while laying it on a large surface.

Don't do it! Save yourself!!!
I've worked with different wraps over the years, mostly with covering R/C planes. So I figured this has to be pretty much the same process. I wanted to cover the radio faceplate in my GT/CS. For some reason Ford covers the upper I/P in carbon fiber but leaves the lower that crappy silver. Anyway, I got this, broke out my xacto, heat gun and hot gloves. The covering went on pretty much as expected and looked really good! THAT DIDN'T LAST! Anywhere that there was a compound curve this stuff let go. I completely removed all my hard work and recovered the piece allowing a little extra in those areas. YOU GUESSED IT! It let go AGAIN. For all of you that have had good results, I'd like to know if it was on flat surfaces or inside curves because it didn't work for me. I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place. Buy 3M and start over. I don't know if theirs is any better but it can't be any worse than this GARBAGE.UPDATE. I just had to come back to update this review. After spending an hour covering a console with this JUNK,I hesitantly installed it. Thank goodness it was my own car and not someone elses. I had to have emergency surgery and my car was parked for 2 weeks until I could drive it again. I opened the door to get in and immediately noticed that the covering had turned loose, wrinkled up and DIED. After 2 hours and a pint of paint thinner I was able to get all the adhesive off the piece. I decided to give up on this stuff and just painted the console piece with black gloss for plastics. It looks great now!

Great product to cover and protect plastic car interior trim
I used this vinyl to cover some of the plastic trim on the interior of my car (near the rocker panel where shoe scuffs are a battle). The carbon weave looks phenomenal and the product felt durable. I just bought the 30“ x 60“ Moyishi carbon vinyl to cover the back of my car seats...at least until a real carbon seat back is available for my Tesla Model 3. I have a feeling that most people who write a negative review regarding the product are not using a heat gun or haven’t installed vinyl before.

Buy Vvivid or 3M Vinyl! NOT THIS CHEAP CRAP!
Don’t go cheap! This doesn’t work like normal vinyl! I wrap cars in vinyl for a living! I had to apply it three times before there weren’t any bubbles! A vinyl squeegee with a felt edge, ripped it. It was for my own car, so I figured cheap would be ok if it looked good. It’s been installed for 3 days, and it is letting go on corners, and on day 2, I noticed it tore, and retracted! This isn’t my first vinyl application, but it’s my last with this brand. You get what you pay for. Spend the extra money on quality like VVIVID VINYL, or as much as I hate to say it, 3M Vinyl. Never straying from Vvivid again. The pic with the yellow circle/text was what happened when my CLOTH LANYARD and plastic name badge, slid across it. Too thin, and easily torn! The adhesive also sticks to the surface when you try to peel it back to remove a bubble. Then you have a spot where there is no adhesive if you move it slightly, and a spot with double adhesive. It’s garbage!

High quality vinyl wrap
I used this wrap to re-finish a Yakima roof rack fairing that has been out in the elements for 14 years. It sealed perfectly with no bubbles and is holding up really well in the elements after 2 months, including a ton of rain, light snow, and ice after the rain has frozen over night.I also wrapped a pen with it for giggles and that worked well, too.***UPDATE: 4/25/2016 - After a year and a half the Yakima fairing that I wrapped still looks clean and new. The vinyl does not fade, discolor, or lose its seal, even around the edges on the back side where it is tucked under and wrapped around. I'm considering doing the hood of my car with this, as well. I'll post another update if I do.

Take your time
Worked very well. I've heard if you wet what you're wrapping you'll get less bubbles, not sure if that's true. We did have bubbles, but they came out easily. Take your time when applying and you'll get good results. We wrapped a little bar fridge, looks fantastic in carbon fibre!

Would buy it again. Worked great for my center console wrap project
The vinyl looks really good when installed correctly. Light hits the 3 dimensional design and you get a true raw CF look at a glance. The vinyl itself is thin so moderate amount of heat will have it conforming to a lot of bends and curves. If you've worked with form fitting adheasive vinyl before then this is no different. For those starting out, you may want to work on a small moderately complex shape to get your heating and forming technique down. I love the look. If you seal it with automotive clear coat, make sure to go through the whole sand and spray process to get the best results.

Utiliser la chaleur pour l'installation
Bonne qualité, pas tres facile a installé pour une personne débutant mais avec un sèche cheveux sa fonctionne bien.
