outstanding headset.
PROS:*Comfortable*Affordable*Over all Quality*Good for musicCONS:*Sound IsolationThis headset is amazing, great sound quality. It has surround sound and works great. The mic also has outstanding quality.Since the ear pads are made of really soft foam they don't block sound out that great.

Horrid structure design; glitchy volume knob
Initially, I was very happy with these headsets. The sound quality is fantastic, with crisp sound and powerful bass and great volume range, and as a pc gamer the 7.1 surround sound was immersive and fun. The mic was also very responsive and didn't pick up a lot of background noise. They worked great for almost a year, but then I realized a fatal flaw in the design structure of these headsets; all the strain gets put on the thinnest piece of plastic in the frame. As you'll see in some of the other reviews for this product, the plastic piece that separates the earpiece from the overhead arch WILL BREAK EVENTUALLY, no matter how gentle you are with them. One broke while I was literally just wearing the dang thing. Mine only lasted a year and a couple months before I was holding it together with duct tape and pieces of credit cards (cards have the same flexibility/sturdiness of the frame, so it works as a makeshift frame; but now I can't adjust the size anymore).Other than that, one problem that's annoying is the volume knob... mine started doing this weird glitch where turning it up or down will cause either the left or right earpiece to completely turn off sporadically. I have no idea why it does this. The only way to fix it is to slide the volume up and down until you find the setting that has equal volume for both ears (it's almost like dialing the signal for an old time radio). After doing some research, I learned I'm not the only one who has had this problem, so I'm guessing the error lies in the design rather than a unique fluke with my product. My review used to be 5 stars, and I'm sad to lower it like this. While its sound quality is superb and the mic has reaped no complaints from my online friends (hence why my review maintained 2 stars), the poor structural quality and design of this headset gives it a terrible lifespan which, in my opinion, does not justify the lower price it boasts in the realm of headsets. I can no longer recommend this product in good conscience.I hope this has helped.

Loved them so much, buying the same pair 5 months later.
I love the headphones. I wore them 12 hours straight with no discomfort at all. They have amazing sound quality, when playing CS:GO I can hear EVERY movement. Listening to music with these from my phone is just as amazing as playing games on my computer. I only have 1 complaint and this one is huge. The plastic they're made out of is cheap and cracks easily. I've had them for 5 months exactly and the right ear cup is cracked along the very top of it. not too long ago a piece on the left cracked too but nothing bad happened from it. With this new crack the right side is loose and doesn't hold onto my ear as it should. I attempted to superglue it back together but to no avail. Even with that huge downside, because how amazing they were I am going to get them again, I just hope they last longer than 5 months this time.

NEVER AGAIN. Go for a different gaming headset brand for PCs. (Updated on 1/31/15)
The media could not be loaded. After having this headset for two months, it is a decent product, but could be so much better. The surround sound is cool, but like others have said, it's very much like being in a room too big for the speakers your given. Now that alone wouldn't bother me too much, but I am now 2 months into my purchase and the left earpiece extender has completely broken. I have a larger head so I have to have it extended, otherwise it won't even go over half of my ears. I make slight adjustments depending on the feel overall but it should not break as easily as it did a few moments ago for me.I am very disappointed and feel like I should have gone for the more expensive option with the Z60. At least I would not regret buying it since it's made of stronger material. I feel cheated out of $80 that I spent (and that was with the discount on Amazon that was offered on launch day; it would've been $90 otherwise).I honestly think I can do without the surround sound and may possibly go back to my old TB headphones while I wait on support to answer my email.EDIT (1/31/15): The good news is that TB customer support was wonderful and willing to repair my headset without me having to buy another or paying for more than just shipping and handling. The BAD NEWS is none of that matters since two weeks after the replacement came in, the left ear broke AGAIN. I'm also sure this was a brand new headset and the fact that it lasted a shorter period of time when compared to the one I got in store is disheartening. I am furious. My Turtle Beach 500P headset for my PS4 is more durable than this (*knock on wood* because for God's sake if something happens to that headset I'm swearing off Turtle Beach headsets for life).Don't let the picture fool you. The plastic for these headphones is the reason why they are cheaper than their more expensive counterparts. You get what you pay for, I guess. As long as you don't have a big head, this is a decent entry level gaming headset for people on a tight budget. If you are like me though and purchase for the long haul and think of value over time, AVOID THESE AND DON'T TURN BACK.As for me, I'm going to do more research and probably go for one of the Astro Gaming Headsets, most likely the wireless one.
