I finally got a desk mat/mouse pad that works for me! This is a good quality mat that is smooth on top and has a suede backing that helps prevent it from slipping. I don't notice any slipping at all. It comes all rolled up, but it flattens out quickly. No issues with it curling at all. The main reason I ordered this is to serve as a much larger mouse pad. I don't like using the small mouse pads that are so common. I tend to run out of space on them... On one mat I ordered the mouse would kind of "stick". Another was too large. I guess I thought there were standard sizes for desk mats. Don't make that mistake! Measure the area you want to cover. My husband got one that is made of PU leather and the mouse glides so smoothly on it! After I tried out his I decided that's what I was going to look for. I came upon this PU leather one that would fit perfectly width wise but was just a little too deep. After some thought I decided it would be okay if it hung over the back of my rollout "tray". Just to let you know though... the measurements in the description are estimated. At least this one was. It is slightly smaller than 32" across and 16" deep, but smaller works fine for me. If it would have been bigger, it would have been a little too wide. Also, it's nice that RENMTURE mats come in so many different color choices. I have a pink keyboard so I considered ordering the pink one but decided it would look better against a contrasting color. Anyway, I'm quite happy with this desk mat/ mouse pad.
