But that doesn’t mean your Thanksgiving turkey has to be predictable. For a new twist this year, try our fabulously glazed turkey recipe. Featuring a smooth glaze made with our all-natural Cherry Preserves, this recipe creates a truly moist and succulent dish. Just enough to add a delightful hint of sweetness, the glaze won’t overpower November’s signature entrée but will ensure your whole family savors every last bite. view larger ( http://g-ec2.images-.com/images/G/31/misc/B00LASM2NE_01.jpg ) Ingredients: ------------ * 1 whole turkey (12 lb), thawed if frozen * ½ cup orange juice * 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage leaves * 1 teaspoon salt * 1/2 teaspoon pepper * Olive Oil * Paprika Glaze * 1/2 cup Bonne Maman Cherry Preserves * 1/4 cup ruby port or chicken broth Directions: ----------- * Heat oven to 325°. Grease 13×9-inch glass baking dish with shortening or cooking spray; set aside. Remove and did neck and giblets from turkey. Rinse turkey inside and out with cold water; pat dry with paper towels. Fill the glass with crushed ice, then add the bourbon. Stir to combine, garnish with the remaining mint sprig and serve immediately. Yield: 1 cocktail
