The product gives me security and safety. I sleep better known I am safe. I have these windows that once open at times they do not shut all the way and you cannot lock the window.I purchased these locks for that reason. They are so easy to install.The only downside are the keys. It is a basic allen wrench. They are very small. I purchased three long Allen Wrenches from Amazon and placed one in each room. They are easier to unlock and lock now with the other allen wrench i purchased from amazon.

The window locks are high quality aluminum with inset hex screws. The screw is tightened using an allen key that can be removed after the lock is in place. Each lock has its own key. Each lock also has a plastic shim that spreads the pressure and helps protect the finish of the window frame. Installation and removal are easy. When the lock is in place, the window is secure from being lifted higher than the lock.

I just love these locks! I use them on my windows and sliders in my home. Just a little extra security when my husband is away. We're a military family and when he's gone, anything helps with mama feel comfortable in her own home without her groom, it's these... I have a security system but all helps! I just like cracking my windows and these help!! -

Works great. I live on the first floor. Most of my windows have locks to keep them locked open several inches. The two windows that didn't, now have these - so I can leave the windows open on a breezy day.

It locks the window as designed. However, I broke two keys trying to tighten the locks. Also, the keys are wide for easy use and torque, but that means they end up hitting the window sill or frame. It would be ideal if the screw could be angled a bit towards the top of the lock to use against the frame.

These work really well. I tried some other ones on Amazon and they did not open wide enough for my windows. These work great. Once I tighten it as much as I can with my hand, I tighten it with my wrench for extra security.

Work exactly how I need them to. Screw down tightly to prevent doors or windows from being opened.

These were a fraction too small to fit my windows unfortunately. Otherwise a good product.
