These work so much better than the elastic band ones. I have a lot less breakage of my hair for both pony tail or pig tail for my braids.

I was told these were good for curly hair. They got tangled in my hair. But they weren't too bad. They held my hair together just not very tight. Of course eventually they stretch.

I bought one for myself and one for a friend. We both love them and will be ordering more.Works wonderful in curly and straight hair.
