Nice Utility type knife for the price!
I was impressed. It showed up and fresh out of the package it was quite sharp. I thought at the least I would have to sharpen it a bit to make it reliable useful. The flashlight is a joke, but I did not buy it for the flashlight. I hit the fire starter with some emery cloth to remove the protective coating, as I have had to do with all my fire sticks, and it works perfectly. I have fire sticks I paid way more for that throw similar sized sparks. That said, I am most impressed with the sharpness and apparent durability of the folding knife. As I said, i am planning on using it as a utility knife, not a survival knife so it should last for years. I did test the belt cutter, on some mule tape I had lying around and it cut it easily. I see no reason the window breaker should not work as it's size and shape appear right.

Not your EDC, it's your backup
Perfect utility knife for your grab-and-go bag. The added light is a cool function, but stock up on the necessary batteries to run it because it dies quickly.

Why do I keep buying things I don't need
It has solid build quality. The blade is sharp and sturdy when open. The cutter cut paracord fairly easily. I was having trouble at first with the light like others. There is a plastic disc in there blocking the batteries from the contacts you have to remove but it was still not working properly. The 4 stacked batteries have a plastic sleeve holding them together that you really have to remove in order to have good flashlight functionality. The issues with flickering and dimming should go away after that. What I ended up doing is cutting a sliver of clear tape and taping all the batteries together effectively replacing the plastic sleeve it comes with. But with a razor sharp knife, I actually used the Albatross knifes factory edge, you can trim down the ends to not interfere with the contacts touching the battery. I guess you could actually just trim down the original plastic sleeve but I had already destroyed mine. The tape is working well though. I also put new batteries in it and the flashlight works perfectly and hasn't dimmed at all with regular use over the course of a day. The original batteries were dimming within seconds of turning it on. ) The ferro rod is exposed, not in a water tight tube so keep that in mind once you start scraping it. One star off for: - loose flashlight in housing. I don't think it will fall out on its own but it turns side to side as you turn the light on and off. Should be more secure. You still are able to turn the light on and off without removing it. - the thumb stud location and handle make it a little difficult to open one handed. It is doable enough but this isn't a folder you can flip open quickly. I do actually like it. I was expecting it to be a campy gimmicky thing I just bought for fun. I like it better than expected. And the flashlight is actually really nice once working properly. It's still not super bright though but that's expected. I'm happy with it especially for the money.

I ordered this as a gift. I've hade one myself and it's the best. The case is not the best quality though, which is not an issue if you don't really need it

Per dollar, awesome buy
First off, great budget purchase. Second - This is NOT my EDC - it IS NOT (shouldn't be anyways) meant as a primary bushcraft/camp knife. Not for battoning wood, or building a house on the prairie. The blade comes sharpened, the little flashlight in it works excellent for it's size (if you are smart enough to open it and remove the black contact liner) and even comes with a backup set of batteries (easy to lose, look out) The cheap nylon belt pouch is... Cheap. The knife is to small to fit it well, but the box it comes in, does fit. This is not a bad thing actually, it leaves a bit of space for adding a few extra, small items (like a sharpening rod/small stone, a small lighter, a bit of bank line, etc) I plan to keep this in a pack, not on my belt anyways. The pocket clip would be better for carrying all the time, in my opinion. The little Ferro rod is... Little. I assume it works like most of it's kind, I haven't stripped the outer layer off to waste it yet. One of my only complaints really, is the silly "bottle opener" cut out on the spine of the blade. It already has the sorta "seatbelt/ropecutter" tool along with the glass breaker at the bottom of the grip that would handle that just fine. Since it comes with a ferrorod/firestriker, a continuous, 90° spine for the blade would seem more helpful, and stronger. Maybe it saves them 2-10¢ per blade of material? The action to open it, is slightly stiff; as a new knife should be. It's clearly not a flipper, nor does it suggest it is - the thumb stud works fine. Ergonomics are not ideal, but most combos that add gimmicks (like flashlight/firestarter) are not. It does sit in the hand just fine though. All in all - (for the price especially) 5 stars. Useful, portable, it does everything I expect it to as backup, utility item in a pack, or car console.

Not rechargeable
Needs little batteries, not rechargeable. Still haven’t figured out the flint either. Decent car knife though

Great Value Rescue Tool
I purchased this as a supliment to my emergency preparedness tool collection. For the money it is a great value! I own a benchmade triage 915 which is similar in intended function but costs 15x as much. Is this albatross as good? No. Obviously. But to have this in a car glove box, a hiking pack, truck center console, emergency medical/earthquake kit etc would be great. No big deal if it gets lost or stolen. I tested the belt cutter and it works. The blade comes fairly sharp. The flashlight is very bright for its size. The fire starter 100% works! Just scrape off the black coating first. Bottle opener is a nice touch for those pesky non-twist beers. Glass breaker seems a little more dull than others I have but should work jut fine. I have a few reservations... the case? Literally threw it out. Horrible thin material, worse than $1 store holster. ....the flashlight (while pleasantly bright!) turns on by twisting. To turn it off you have to “untwist” the head. Not a fan of that design as it can discharge or fall off during carry. Also it is overall heavy and doesn’t feel great in my hand. Its slippery too. No grip. I plan on using superglue and fine sand to add texture. It’s NOT a heavy duty knife. It’s a “oh nice! This will do this job I need it for right now” type of knife that you can forget about until you need it. That said I’ll prob be buying a few more to throw in emergency kits for my cars etc
