Having this rhinocables Shielded Scart Cable coupled with a DIGITNOW! HDMI to SCART Converter Adaptor allowed me to continue using my old television. Upon installation of an updated tv service, I was told I needed to buy a new tv that had a HDMI port. After a little research I found this adaptor and a connecting lead that saved me an expensive purchase. The connection was easy and the old "obsolete" tv is working fine.

Used to plug my scart 6 port scart switcher into my GBS-C. Displayed my mega drive in NTSC perfectly and any other console i threw at it in RGB. I dont know why reviews are saying its not RGB compatible, becuase it is.

Did what I wanted them for.

Easy to use straight out of box plug and play

Worked ok

The connecters on this SCART cable is poor quality; it's loose fitting and unplugs far too easily, and the pins also bend very easily. It does the job, and if kept in place untouched it works just fine, but the slightest movement of the cable means you'll be fiddling to plug it back in. If my existing/old cable wasn't so short I'd keep on using that instead as the fitting is snug and feels secure.

Good quality and a handy size

Had to purchase this to be able to connect my Wii machine to the scart to hdmi adapter as both were male scart plugs.
