Great taste
You get a lot for your money, and it tastes great. It has a nutty, mild taste. Very easy to hide if you're making a smoothie. Very highly recommend and i will be buying again!!

Taste does not taste like pumpkin seed protein taste more like pea protein
Updated my review- second time purchasing this and this second bag does not taste like pumpkin seed protein or even smell like it. It kind of reminds me of pea protein, so not sure why. Will update my review when I buy another bag and if it stays the same, will look for a different company. The first bag was excellent this one is different, much lighter more earthy smell

Single ingredient, mixes well, vegan
This review is for the "Smart for Life Organic Pumpkin Protein Powder- 2 lb - Vegan Plant-Based Protein Pumpkin Seeds Powder - Gluten-Free Keto Friendly Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder Ideal for Smoothies and Baking."Some people may prefer this powder over some of the mixtures you find at stores because it is a single ingredient, has a natural pumpkin taste rather than flavorings, no sugar, low fat, a decent amount of iron and protein, and it mixes well and can also be used for baking.Others may not prefer it if they don't like the taste of natural pumpkin seed or if they like the convenience of not having to add any other flavoring to make their protein drink taste good. The taste of the powder isn't overpowering in my opinion, but I wouldn't find it particularly tasty by itself either. It's best when used with food or as an additive to another flavor of smoothie, as it won't really take away from the flavor of your drink or food, but will add thickness and protein without unhealthy additions. It does not include a scoop for the serving size, which is 1 oz. Someone claimed this amounts to 1/2 cup, while another claimed about 1/4 cup. With powder, it is best to weigh it for an accurate amount, as it can condense/compact and end up being a lot more than the serving size if you simply scoop it. However, depending on the texture of the powder, a scoop can sometimes approximately be the right amount. I have not tested it with a volume measurement method versus weight so far.For how many servings you get of this, depending on how much you want/need to use on a regular basis, the value doesn't seem bad, as this 2lb bag is 32 servings at 103 calories and 17g of protein per serving.

Can be used for almost anything!
Pumpkin protein powder might sound odd if you've never heard of it before, but this is an amazing protein powder. The first time I tasted it, it took me a second to figure out what it tasted like. Then it dawned on me: it tastes like pumpkin seeds! Not the salted and roasted variety, but more of a plain type. The flavor is fairly noticeable if you are using only the powder and liquid to make a protein shake. I wouldn't say it's bad at all. It blends well and has a decent texture. The taste by itself just left something to be desired in my opinion. Most unflavored protein powders are great options due to their versatility and this is no exception. I used it in many different dishes, and it worked well in all of them. I think I liked to use it best in baking. Its light texture made it a good substitute for flour. It helped to make a delicious single-serve cake packed with extra nutrients. The pumpkin protein powder didn't thicken dishes as much as some other protein powders, like if it was mixed with a cereal grain. This didn't bother me much though, since it just meant that I used a little less liquid. The slight flavor could also be used to add a little extra flavor to things like oatmeal. The protein powder's flavor isn't obnoxious, but it changed up the normal flavor profile of the oatmeal a bit in a way that I appreciated.I have to say that I really enjoyed using this pumpkin protein powder. It has lots of protein and iron and was low in sodium, all things that I usually look for in protein powders. If you are really against the pumpkin seed type flavor, it might not be for you. However, I found myself tossing a scoop in just about anything when I wanted some extra protein (there's no scoop included in the bag, but I found that 1/4 cup was fairly close to a serving size and I ended up using a scoop from another container of protein powder I had recently finished).

Not pumpkin flavored
This is a difficult product to rate because my assumptions about it were entirely wrong. Namely, while it's made of pumpkin, but it isn't meant to taste like pumpkin - it's a flavorless protein powder, which is disappointing given that it's calorie count is fairly high. For a protein powder supplement, it isn't all that high on protein with only 17 grams per serving. But, it's one ingredient, organic, and while it lives up to the "no flavor" promise, it has a sandy texture that isn't overly satisfying. I can only recommend in a smoothie format with a lot of fruits.
