We ordered this catio to help our cat spend time outside at our new house without escaping the yard as she has become known to do. The catio arrived in many pieces and required several hours to assemble. Fortunately, the instructions were clear complete with images and all parts and pieces were present. It was worth taking the time to build it because it looks great, is made of real wood, and our cat really loves it. There are several perches she can climb or jump to and there is a large area on the bottom where one of us can actually fit inside and sit with her in the grass. The roof is very neat as well it has clear plastic panels like skylights and it comes with a cover that will provide added protection from the elements during rainy weather. Overall, this is a great product that can keep animals like cats safe and secure while still enjoying your outdoor space! Highly recommend!

Not the easiest item I have ordered from Amazon to assemble, and the lightweight wood splinters easily. I have it out on my covered patio and it keeps my cats safe. It took my cats several months to comfortable using it. But now they have the hang of it they spend much time in it sunbathing and watching the world go by.

This item is terrible not sturdy at all and not safe.We held out hope that once it was all said in done it would be more sturdy and it is not. If we could take this apart and send it back we would but it took hours to put together. On top of the instructions being very unhelpful no words only pictures and there was many items damaged. Very annoyed and frustrated.

This model (or models very similar to this) are for sale from others, but for a good bit more money. This one is of excellent quality, arrived very quickly, works wonderfully, is very sturdy, looks great, my outdoor cats are on my covered porch in it every night because of coyotes. We added a rubber mat underneath and heat lamps pointing inside the resting cubbies plus heated pads for cats. The cubbies keep them out of the wind. They were in a smaller cage, but now have adjusted well and love having a larger space! The parts are well made and well marked. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I smelled a "wood" smell (like chopped wood) when we first opened the box. It wasn't bad and I didn't smell it after a couple of days. I did see another customer complaint about the smell and I'm not saying that didn't happen to him; I'm simply saying that wasn't my experience. It wasn't hard for my husband and older stepson to assemble it. The instructions could be more clear. Looking at pictures of it online was helpful during assembly. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Great to have for my cat so she can get some fresh air and not be inside all the time! Looks great! When I opened the box I noticed a pine smell, so it’s pine wood. But the pieces are thin and laminate. So when putting together things crack (make sure to do pilot holes where they do not) and the whole thing shakes when she jumps around now that she’s not a kitten anymore. So overall NOT the most sturdy, and safety is questionable. I was annoyed to discover the wood was laminate and thin given the price so it could definitely be cheaper and I’m sure you could build one on your own cheaper for a more durable enclosure. Very easy to assemble though, took me one weekend.

This was easy to assemble but definitely need 2 people to assemble it. Much bigger than i expected. The roof is very good quality.First off, fiberglass particles ALL over the wood straight out of the packaging. Also the wood it’s made with is SO fragile, not sturdy at all. 2 shelves have broken because they are so thin and the wood is so lightweight. I’ve had to make and replace some of them at home. The little “hiding spot” boxes are so fragile, both have broken in. the wood is so thin. My cat is not big, he’s a “regular” sized cat.However, i love the little sliding door on the bottom. With some intense cleaning, building of new shelves, and a cat door attached to a window of our home, our cats are obsessed!

Our cat loves this. Took a little time to put together but is quite solid. Now he can be on the deck with us.

Our inside cats can now be outside. It took approximately 8 hrs to put together. We made a floor and set it on bricks so the bottom isn’t exposed to the grass and dirt. The wood is pretty flimsy but it seems sturdy enough for our cats to climb around safely in it. It’s kinda small but would be great for 2 cats, maybe 3. We have 4 cats so we purchased two houses and have them connected so there’s plenty of space for them. It comes with a plastic tarp to put over the top so water doesn’t fall through the roof. Overall, it’s a good product. Would give 5 stars if the wood was more sturdy
