This is a really cute pineapple tea cup and it is a nice size as well. It was packaged really well so it would arrive safe and unbroken. However there were dirt spots all over the cup like it had been used before. They did wash off rather easily but I am glad I caught it before I gifted the cup

I think they're a bit small for a 16 oz can of soups or chili, but if you make your own soups, you control the volume and these are really pretty cups.

I found it to be a beautiful mug, hand painted work is lovely. The size is good for soups, cereals, even just display. My mother loved to get it and have an upscale to her breakfast bowl. Nothing on it I saw said microwave, but the product page does confirm it as well as that it is dishwasher safe. It is well made, lovely to look at. I have it pictured set upon the molded foam packaging it came in, and that also is a great gift aspect to it, that it arrives carefully protected. My preference is the violet which has gorgeous shades of purple.
