I had such a blast building this guy! The pieces were sturdy, directions were great and the end result was absolutely amazing!! I didn’t run into any issues where the spines collided with the wheel like some others have —once this was built it worked very smoothly as designed.One part to be especially careful is when you’re putting the bottom spines of the boat on. You’ll eventually have to put a rod through the holes in the spine, so just make sure you’ve pressed the pieces down in place so they’re all aligned.Can’t wait to do another puzzle by Rokr!

I got this for my nieces husband for Christmas and he loved it. Design is very kool and level of difficulty makes it great for a grown up who loves puzzles.

This was great! I’ve bought several of their puzzles and they’ve all been challenging and fun to build. What I really like about these guys too over others is that they mix materials (Not just wood but plastic and metal too. It makes for stronger and more reliable mechanisms, not just rubber bands that break or dry rot over time. Definitely recommend these as a gift or just for fun.

I really enjoyed building this model. It's a very cool design. Pros and cons:Pros:- Design is awesome- Instructions will get you there- Punch-outs are easy to punch out without breakingCons:- The instructions could be clearer. They offer QR codes for "harder steps" but I'd rather just see better instructions. I'm doing this to get OFF my phone.- One of my personal peeves is labeled statues. There are "Tales of Valor" plates and a "Rokr" plate placed prominently on this. You can see it in the pictures so I don't label this a problem, just a design decision I didn't love. I flipped those pieces around so the blank sides are visible and it works just as well.The big con: This thing is NOT as fast as the video makes it look. The movement of the oars is extremely slow, about half or a quarter of what the video shows. Looking back at the video I think it was a "for effect" choice, but I was very surprised after assembly at how slow it is.You'll also need a power cable as none is provided. Standard USB C.
