Comfort Meets Protection – Ideal for Long Workdays
I recently picked up the New Balance Men’s Composite Toe Elite Lite Industrial Shoe, and they’ve quickly become my go-to for work. Right out of the box, they were comfortable with minimal break-in time. The composite toe provides excellent protection without the extra weight that steel toes often come with, making them much lighter and easier to wear for extended periods. We are required to wear safety shoes in a warehouse environment and these are way more comfortable than just about anything else out there. The cushioning is fantastic, offering great support during long shifts on my feet, and the slip-resistant sole grips well on different surfaces. Despite being durable and protective, these shoes still have the comfort and flexibility you’d expect from New Balance, so I don’t feel weighed down by heavy work boots. One thing I appreciate is the breathable material, which keeps my feet cool even during warmer days. Plus, the grey and white design looks sharp, so it doesn’t feel like I’m sacrificing style for functionality. Overall, if you need a reliable and comfortable work shoe with solid protection, these are an excellent choice! Highly recommend for anyone in industrial settings or jobs requiring toe protection.

AMAZING shoes!
I get compliments on these shoes everywhere I go, not even just at work! They look fun, fresh, and best of all is that they are extremely comfortable! The only issue is that I hate when they get dirty at work, because they are AMAZING!5/5!

is this like 574?
As you can imagine from the appearance, these safety shoes have the same fit and excellent sole cushioning as the classic New Balance shoes. It is preferable to me over other New Balance safety shoes, and this pair covers my activities from commuting by train to work. I am a fan of the 990 series and have worn most of New Balance's lifestyle shoes, but these safety shoes provide the closest fit to the 574 among them. As for size, I recommend buying the same size as usual unless you wear thick sports socks.

Stiching issues and marks on them.
A New Balance is normally my go-to sneaker for work, but ugh, these look cheaply made. Whoever made them did not put in the care and love that others do. There is loose threading in multiple areas, and the logo looks like it is barely hanging on. There are at least two scuffs. These are either fakes, or quality control isn't doing its job. I've had a horrible experience with these and will be returning them. These pictures don't do the flaws justice.

Received "WIDE" instead of "X-Wide"
I ordered the "New Balance Men's Wide Elite Lite Electrical Hazard Medium Composite Toe, Industrial Work Shoe Lightweight & Slip Resistant" in size 7.5 width X-Wide.I unfortunately received a 7.5 Wide instead of the X-Wide. New Balance Wides are 2E width, X-Wides are 4E. The box I received was marked "WIDE" and 2E. The shoes are marked 2E as well.Amazon has helped me with the refund process but I am still skeptical about re-ordering the 7.5 X-Wides and receiving the correct size.I will update my review if I do end up re-ordering them and update with what I received. The shoes look great but are worthless as they are the wrong width.I've had great experiences with New Balance Composite Toe shoes in the past and their X-Wides fit comfortably with minimal break in period.
