Good quality safe at a very reasonable price
Good quality safe at a very reasonable price. Better quality than I expected, compares with more expensive safes. Great buy!

NOT A GOOD PRODUCT
The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY!!!! There is a reason this large of a safe comes with the cheap price tag; because the build quality is complete crap! Ordered from Amazon, waited two weeks for it to be delivered even though it was a prime item that showed in stock. Once the safe was delivered, it was very evident how cheap the build quality is. Each spoke of the wheel handle is made of two pieces that screw together, so each time the wheel handle is used the spokes begin to unscrew with the slightest bit of pressure. Even at full lock, the wheel handle has about a half inch of “play” and just does not feel secure in any way. The mechanics of the keypad are decent, but when you remove the keypad to insert the battery, again you realize how cheaply the product is put together. Then to top off the disappointment, the door is out of tolerance with the safe, so when the door is closed the bars that are supposed to go inside of the safe and lock it securely end up hitting the safe and the door can’t be locked. So, to top off the disappointment, the safe can’t even be used. I called Amazon, they scheduled a pick up which I will have to take off work to be here for, and will issue a refund once picked up. The safe looks big and tough, in reality it’s a piece of junk.

Great safe at a great price (maybe not)
Love this safe. For the price I paid it was an incredible deal and is much higher quality that Sentry or similar. It is quite large so if you are looking for something small this is not what you want. It has lots of space and the shelves are adjustable.Update:Well my safe got broken into and all of my valuables stollen. The safe was locked t the time yet there is no visible damage to the safe. I had just moved and the only people that knew the safes location in my house was the movers so they are the prime suspects. They were able to somehow get into the locked safe without the code or prying it open. I don’t know if someone was able to cheat the lock system or exploit a flaw similar to the one on digital sentry safes but they got in somehow. The backup key is locked safely in a family member’s safe in another city.

great safe for the price
Wanted something that was big enough one person couldn't walk away with it, came with bolts to attach it to the floor. Paperwork states the warranty is void if it isn't bolted down. Great for the price/size and setup was easy.

Good buy for the price
Solid, easy to set up, seems fairly well built so far.

Stack-on Poor Customer Service"
First, I see this "safe" as fire and water protection plus some deterrent to burglars. It is light weight, thin skinned, can't be located flush to the back wall due to the electrical connection, and only has 2 functionable anchors at the base. There are three anchor holes in the back that could be used but they didn't mention them and you either need a spacer between them and the wall or chisel out the wall for the electrical connection to mount the safe flush to the wall.I contacted Stack-on by phone, asked my question about anchoring the safe to the floor. The agent with a strong accent knew nothing, then disappeared leaving me on hold. I called back and got another agent with a strong accent. He also knew nothing, went to his advisor, and came back with "contact your local locksmith". ...to anchor the safe to the floor? The Safe's manual is unclear in its instructions for mounting. It says "locate the mounting hole bushings" Translated, that is the two one inch diameter holes in my safe in the bottom where the hard insulating material has been countersunk to the metal skin and filled with hard black fire resistant caulk using a caulking gun. The top of the caulk is very uneven. It then says the fire resistant caulk must be "drilled out" using a 3/8" diameter drill bit. By the time the 3/8 hole is drilled the 1 inch diameter caulk plug has broken loose, but won't come out without demolishing its donut shape and totally removing it. Nobody at customer service can tell me if the donut of caulk should be removed. I don't think it will seal water tight without removing it because it's loose in the hole in the safe. What in the world does "drilled out" mean to Stack-on. Apparently there is no answer.
