Not quite what I expected
Not super happy with the product I received. The basic notebook quality is up to par with my other Moleskine experiences, but it seems like I got a strange international version for some reason.Under "Product Details," the only language listed is English. And in the product pictures, I can see that the only language was English (only English days of the weeks, only English months of the year). Yet I received a book that is an odd combination of both English and French. Everywhere text/printing appears, information is printed in both languages. "Tuesday/Mardi," it says, for instance, for a day of the week. Or, "APRIL/AVRIL," it says for the month. If it wasn't for the coincidence that I happened to take French classes a couple years during my childhood, I'd probably be more confused or lost. As it is, it's merely an inconvenience that so much space is wasted on repeating so much text. Also, the calendar doesn't have any of the standard holidays pre-printed in the appropriate days. I've used Moleskine planners in the past (their large daily ones, not an extra large weekly version), and they always had standard holidays listed. I'm assuming this one doesn't have holidays simply because it's a specialty multi-national version, so they don't want to waste space on one country's holidays that the other country doesn't really observe? Or perhaps they just have too much of a crunch for space (thanks to it being a thin weekly planner, as well as because of all the space wasted by repeating everything in multiple languages), and couldn't afford to devote any space to holidays? In either case, it's inconvenient. Half the benefit of buying a pre-printed planner (as opposed to buying a blank notebook and filling in the dates and holidays yourself) is that it comes with as many useful items of information as possible.Lots of the fluff in the front of the book is useless, too. I guess it's just part of Moleskine's "charm" or "tradition," but it's fairly useless. Really need to waste pages on international dialing codes? Waste pages on flight durations? Waste pages on conversion charts for international clothing sizes? I get that these things seem like fancy-pants things that a fancy-pants Moleskine buyer might theoretically have use for, but these are also the kinds of things that you would use so rarely that it seems silly to waste valuable real-estate in a planner.I like the basic quality of Moleskine products. And I especially like the "soft cover" versions lately. I also like the extra large size as opposed to the large or the pocket sizes. That's why I gave it anything beyond 1 star. But the surprise of this not being the entirely "English" product I was expecting (added to the lack of holidays and things you expect from a calendar/planner) was my first real disappointing experience with Moleskine. I feel a little misled, I guess. No idea from the product details or images that my planner would be an odd English+French combo.I'd have returned the item if I had ordered/received it earlier, but I found myself coming up on the time of year when I needed to make notes of plans and appointments, so I decided to just stick with it. Hopefully my planner next year will be less disappointing.

and am very pleased. I like that the Extra Large size is ...
I upgraded my extra small Moleskine daily planner to this planner, and am very pleased. I like that the Extra Large size is uniform with my Extra Large Cranberry Red Cahier Journals, which I use for classes. I also think having an weekly planner, where the week is laid out on a single page, helps for those who need to look at things in advance without flipping through too many pages. I can quickly glance over the week for any upcoming assignments that are due. The notes page which mirrors each week is brilliant. For the extra details that you want to write in the planner, you can just footnote to the notes section. Other great features is the bookmark, and back slip folder. Construction is sturdy while the design is quintessentially Moleskine. Would definitely recommend.

Hardcover > Softcover for Me
I enjoyed using this planner back in '15, but am happy that I moved on. I am someone who consults my written planner on a daily basis, so the soft cover did not really hold up well.I also do not like the layout as much as I do the other weekly planner options that Moleskine offers. From now on I will go with the weekly agenda Moleskine with a hardcover.

Great way to organize your week and prepare for the next week
I have used moleskin for the past few years, but this is the first time I have used the extra large one. What has become really useful for me is the notes page adjacent to the week page. It allows me to write notes from meetings that directly affect the work to be done that week directly next to my calendar for the week. It is a great way for me to track experiments and meetings!

Just what I was looking for
Lots of unnecessary stuff in the front section but otherwise perfect for my return to paper planning after an Outlook incident wiped out a year of notes!Weekly layout is great with the days on the left for schedule & a blank page on the right for notes, etc.

an annual purchase
I've been using these planners for the last 5 years and I love them. It is big enough to take notes in meetings, but not bulky in my bag. it stands up well to daily abuse and the paper is thick enough that ink doesn't bleed through. I add an adhesive pen loop from the Container Store so that I always have a pen attached to it, otherwise it is perfect!

Great feel to this planner - soft and flexible
Great feel to this planner - soft and flexible. Really like the full page for note taking on each double page spread for the weekly schedule. Allows me to expand on what each day has on tab by writing notes on the opposite page. Will not purchase any other planner!

... of those people who is always searching for the perfect work notebook
I am one of those people who is always searching for the perfect work notebook. I have used this style for 2 years now and I just love the way it is laid out, plus it is thin and doesn't take up much space in my computer bag.

Quality, well made and well thought out diary
I am fairly new to the Moleskine range but I have to say I am very impressed so far with their books as all of them feel of very good quality and are very nice to write in; this diary is no exception. The paper is very nice quality and the layout inside is perfect for my needs: over the double page spread you have all weekdays on the left page (with Saturday and Sunday sharing the bottom of the page), and on the right page opposite you have ruled lines to make any notes you might need which I always find useful. I have uploaded a couple of image so hopefully you get a feel for the layout. This diary is soft cover which I much prefer and the diary itself opens well because of this softer cover, thus making it easy to write on when fully open. There is handy gusseted paper pocket in the back of the diary (again Iβve uploaded an image), which is handy for keeping notes or receipts in.The size of the diary (19cm by 25cm) is just right again for my needs, this size allows me to spread diary and calendar notes out so when flicking through my diary appointments are relatively easy to see.All in all I really cannot fault this diary at all β aside from the fact that my wife found the diary and like it so much I am having to buy another. Not the cheapest diary but certainly good value in my opinion for its quality and well thought out layout. Recommended.

A Great Functional Diary that looks Businesslike.
I had this diary last years so I guess buying it again is a good review in itself. Really like the way it is laid out with a page nearly as big as A4 with a weeks dates and on the opposite page just a blank sheet. This works perfectly for me as a listing and notes page opposite a diary commitments and time page. Nice soft but tough cover so it is very nice to use and pack. A pocket in the back cover for papers, stamps, receipts, notes etc. Just the job.

The best
I have had Moleskine for years. Not the cheapest but they are an incredibly useful as a diary and notebook. Love the dates page opposite a note page. Means you don't need scraps of paper stuffed into smaller diaries. Everything you need for work and looks good too.

Beautifully put together
Beautifully put together, lovely cream paper, clear layout. It pays to research carefully before you buy because there are so many different sizes and lay-outs in the Moleskine range. Many 'me too' products but I always go back to the real thing....
