Our shower is large annd deep and mold grows on the left corners where the shower head is because air circulation is bad. We have had a mold problem for years due to several showers being taken in there every day, the mold could never dry out. I tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, every type of toxic mold cleaner and it never went away. But it was nasty! So I tried this stuff.First of all, I followed directions to a t! I placed a fan in my shower to really really dry it out. I took the shower brush and scrubbed the dry mold. Then I cleaned it. I dried the whole shower with a towel and let the fan dry it out fully. Then I put on gloves, a mask (you’ll need it- it smells like chlorine!) and eye protectant (just in case, the gel doesn’t splash but there were times when I was squeezing out the bottle that it “farted” and I was glad I was wearing eye gear). The bottle comes with a nozzle that allows you to target specific areas. There is a cap on the nozzle you have to take off. You also have to open the bottle- it’s a foil cover you peel back. Then you point the nozzle at the mold and gently squeeze for the gel to come out. The only trick is not to “scrape” the gel with the tip while squeezing it out- otherwise it moves to the side of the grout and hollows out where you actually want it to go. It took some trial and error to master just having the tip hover above the grout line and not actually touch it, but when I got it, it was pretty easy!!! Then I went to town following all the horrid grout lines. And there were a lot. I’m talking subway tile. I did not have enough of the gel to do the whole thing, but holy cow! You can see where I didn’t put it!!!! I would tap the bottle upside down to make the gel move to the nozzle to make squeezing easier. I used the entire bottle.After I put the gel on, I let it sit for almost 5 hours. It was amazing. The mold was gone underneath the gel. I took a damp cloth and wiped it and the gel had the consistency of dried candle wax and just fell to the floor. I gathered it up and put it in a trash bag. Then I cleaned my shower and let it dry fully overnight. After the gel dries it still smells like chlorine, but after throwing it away there was no remaining smell. I am impressed!!! You can see the areas that I put the gel so clearly, it looks like new tile.Some tips:1. dry the shower fully!!!!! If the mold is wet, it won’t work.2. Don’t let it come in contact with clothes! I had a blob fall on my sweats and I rinsed it with water but it left a little bleached spot.3. Wear eye gear and disposable gloves. The bottle will fart.4. When I picked up the dried gel, I just held it in my hand and slipped off my glove inside out, trapping it in my glove and creating a little pocket for it to be easily put in a trash bag.5. Even the gel can stain! I dropped a dried gel in my rug and it left a tiny bleach mark.6. Be generous with the gel. The areas I didn’t put a lot or did thin lines had some mold spots that did not fully erase.7. Let the gel sit for longer than you think. I had black slimy mold and I left it there for almost 5 hours. It’s gone!!!!8. Trust me. Buy at least 2 bottles. You wont regret it.All in all I am so happy to find this product and am already buying more to finish the grout lines. 100% effective.

I was assuming I'd have to replace the caulking on the bathtub, and this product saved me the hassle for now.There were a couple spots where water had pooled behind some bath accessories and mold had formed, and I couldn't scrub it out. I tried all the products I had on hand with no luck and decided to order this. It worked, first try!Leave it on enough hours for the gel to harden. I didn't fully understand the directions the first time around. It's easier to wipe off if you do that.Wear gloves because it's strong. The smell wasn't terrible, though.It's a small bottle but worth it as a specialized product that actually works!

It WORKS!!We have a 1980s shower that hasn’t been remodeled with one inch tiles on the bottom, so lots of grout. I have used various products with no success. I applied Active Mold and Stain remover to the black areas of the white grout and left overnight and voila!! It’s all white!!I used it in our 6 yo bathroom grout and all the stinky smells are gone!! Yay!!Because it works so well I find the value good.One bottle 7 oz(?) lasted me 2 showers.No scent. So easy to use (but I didn’t quite follow directions with wiping off and letting it dry before using the shower- hope that doesn’t back fire on me).In short- stop searching,save time, here is your product!! highly recommend!

I absolutely love this stuff! Over the years I've spent hundreds of dollars on products trying to remove the mildew from my shower grout, but nothing ever worked. I saw this advertised on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I painted it on my grout and left it on for about eight hours. I came home from work and expected to be disappointed. I ended up being pleasantly surprised! Almost all of the mildew was gone. I did have to re-spot treat a few areas. My shower looks 95% better. There was not a lot of scrubbing, just sprayed the tiles down and wiped it off with an old rag. The reason that I only gave it 4 stars is that the bottle is a little hard to squeeze and I wish the bottle was bigger. Overall, an amazing product, I highly recommend! If you have mildew on your shower grout, you have to buy this product!!!

I can't believe how well this worked on our washing machine! I had been struggling to clean off the disgusting brown stains on our front load washer for a long time and decided to try this. It was a little hard to get the gel on smoothly on the awkward places like the underside of the rubber gasket, but everywhere I managed to apply the gel was completely stain free a few hours later. It does smell pretty bleachy, so I'd open a window, and definitely use gloves and an old toothbrush to apply the gel, but it works extremely well.

Works like magic! I have been trying to get rid of these molds but they are hard to beat. Scrubbing and adding some products doesnt remove the molds out from my shower. I have back problems so it is hard for me to kneel down and scrub for hours. I even bought an electic scrubber and still doesnt come off. I have been seeing this product from many ads and I thought it is just another promotion (I’m skeptical at first). When I saw many positive reviews, I need to try it and see for myself. As per the instructions, I applied the product on the mold surface/caulk and leave it for 3-5 hours (I left it at 4). Then when I came back, 95% of the molds are gone. Amazing!!! I scrub a bit and rinse with water. I assume I missed some areas (5%) and so I repeated it and left it to work again. When I came back, my shower tiles are so clean and white (whiter than the area I didnt scrub and without molds). Very happy with the results that I recommend it to my mom and ask her to purchase for her nasty-moldy bathtub. I will surely by it again and keep one handy. Hopefully the molds wont come back that fast. Highly recommend!
