Perfect
The texture is smooth and matte, and I haven’t had any issues with fingerprints. The pack comes with 2 and you get a link to a video that walks you through applying it if you need it. Had some handy tips.

Necessity
Paperlike really is a necessity for people who write on their iPad using an Apple Pencil. It has just the right amount of friction to make you not slip too much while writing. It does get scratches, however, and they don't stand out when you have the iPad on - they are only visible when the iPad is off. I would also recommend getting it pasted by a pro maybe, I wasted one of mine trying to do it myself, but air bubbles everywhere.

Can't recommend. Impossible to install without bubbles.
Although I wish I could, I can't recommend this Paperlike screen protector. Despite being meticulously careful and following the instructions to the letter, I was never able to successfully install the screen protector without too many small bubbles and bubbles on the edges I could not remove. The surface is wonderful to write on, but the installation is a nightmare. Net result: I'm out $45 and don't have a usable screen protector, as others have warned.

Works as advertised, butimpossible to get on without air bubbles forming
I've used these for a number of years now on my iPads, but I have to warn people that it's a very frustrating experience to try to put them on correctly. I have patiently followed the instructions and attempted to get the iPad and this into a very clean room cleaned screen multiple times cleaned everything the way that they said to do it and it's still ends up with air bubbles and bits of dust, especially under the larger screens. yes it makes writing a much nicer experience on an iPad, but I would warn you in advance that it may frustrating you more to try to put it on then it's worth to you once it's on it's fine and you get used to the year bubbles being there and it ends up meaning that the screen protector doesn't last as long as you would expect it to because you have to eventually remove it cause it's not sticking as well as it was because of the air bubbles.

Underwhelmed! Overpriced!
Wasn't impressed with the paper like feel. A bit expensive for what it offered. The cheaper versions are much better. The installation is way too complicated; don't know why something this expensive wouldn't offer the easy mechanism for affixing.

Arrived bent, hard to install, peels off easily.
Pretty self explanatory, I pretty much botched the first attempt and then despite how careful I was on the 2nd attempt, I was unable to apply the screen protector without leaving any air bubbles (and yes I tried to squeeze them out for over an hour and was unable to do so).Not only that if you use a Magic Keyboard you may find yourself accidentally removing part of the screen protector whenever you try to open it. That’s even if you managed to line up the screen protector properly without placing it too close to the edge of the screen. It comes off way too easy and just doesn’t adhere to the screen strong enough. It also seems to be very prone to scratches. I’m considering taking this off and putting the old one I bought which was supposed to be temporary until this one had arrived. It was cheaper, easier to apply, more resistant to scratches, and even has a better paper like texture to it. Pretty much better than this in every single way.

So Smooth
I admit I struggled a little bit to get mine bubble free but I do really like the texture of this and the way my pencil glides on it. I prefer this compared to a usual screen protector as I write a lot of notes, it makes me feel like my writing is neater on my iPad.
