Great size for a large, but calm dog
Did not attach the top part. I'm not really sure how that would have even worked as there are only zip ties for it and doesn't appear like it would hold up with it being 4 separate grates and no other support. With the dog being large, having the lid would not have worked anyway because he's too tall. However, there is ample room for him to lay down, turn around, and have a safe space while healing from a surgery while needing strict containment. I also really like how narrow the cross bars of the frame are for the door threshold. They don't interfere with getting in and out like other crates where the dog would have to step up or crouch down a lot. I would have given 4 stars because if he weren't sedated and hurting, there is no way this cage would hold up to his actual strength. However, it is perfect for our current temporary need so I give it 5 stars with a lot of comments. This would be great for smaller dogs or puppies.

Easy to assemble and sturdy
I am very happy to find a good cage for my puppy. It is easy to be assembled and very sturdy. This is how I set up the "room" for him. :)

Subpar quality
I wasn't expecting a whole bag of zip ties to come with this, but that's what they give you to secure the roof. Came with panels already bent too. Which isn't surprising being you can bend the bars with barely 2 or 3 fingers. Highly overpriced for how unsteady it is I'd say. Luckily I have a very well behaved cat who likes to sit outside because this was absolutely useless for the dog. It is a decent size though, so maybe it'd be nice for like... a bunny if you have a calm bunny. Or a lazy cat who likes to sunbathe.

Works but not super sturdy
It's very easy to put together. I used all the zip ties it came with for stability but it's still not very sturdy. I think it's fine as long as you are monitoring your pet's activity. I wouldn't leave a pet alone in it.

Can be welping pen to crate traing.
Love that it's easy to clean from the top, tall enough they can't get over the top, comes with a top if needed. I wish it came with a tray to protect the floor from puppies. Nice and solid kids can lean on it it don't fall over. I have 2 of them can make as big or small as needed.

Not sturdy at all:
We purchased this for our rabbits and it has not held up well. The connector pieces are constantly flying off and the panel move. Not worth the money when you will have to purchase another pen shortly after this falls apart.

It’s really light & easy to move
I don’t like that I have to zip tie the top. That’s not too stable. And they’re really small zip ties. My GSD fits in there good. He loves it . But it’s not worth it I think. Can find a better one for that price.

No match for a 13 pound Chihuahua
I have a 13 pound Chihuahua mix. I purchased this so I could work longer hours and he would have room for a bed, a water bowl and potty area. I only set up 1/2 of the 4 ft Long cage. So he had a 2' X 2' x2’ x 2' area. Plenty of room to stretch etc.I put a stick in the latch lock hole just in case he got excited and tried to open the door.I came home to him greeting me at the door! He shredded the pee pads, dumped the water bowl and started to pry the door open - the cage bars in one corner were bent back to about a 45° angle. He must have rattled it he door enough that the locking stick fell out and the door eventually opened. Had the door not opened I am pretty sure he would have worked the bent area more to get out.The wire bars are slightly thicker than coat hanger wire.So if you have a determined pup they will be able to get out for sure. My little Cujo did.

Easy set up!!
This is a great crate for medium to large dogs. Easy set up! Has no bottom so you can put in your own type of dog bed. Also great for outside on the grass.

Dented frames
I just got this product and setting it up now. I do like the size of this crate, it is what I’m looking for- but unfortunately some frames have dents on the sides. I’m also not able to put the connectors on the dented sides. Is there a way I could return this to get replacement, please?

missing hardware to put the item together
Missing Connector, screws and bolts in item. looked like it was previously a returned item as it only had tie-wrapped the cages together

Escape proof ... I hope
I set this up, as soon as it had arrived, since my crafty Siberian was inspired to become an Escape Artist by the recent arrival of pets freed to roam the neighbourhood, in her sight. Sighhhh.I tried different harnesses, an elevated swivelling tether, even an enclosed mesh "cat playpen" - she kept getting free.Keeping her inside provoked her to make US miserable, so a cage was the nuclear option. This cage has a simple design, making it difficult to mess up. Just be sure to put the door right side up, or it likely won't latch. It's also the only one with a top, that I could find. She hasn't managed to get out, despite trying. I'll need to secure the latch better, since her hand-like paws would certainly be up to the task of lifting it to the Open position.
