Maybe hold off on these for a bit.
The media could not be loaded. I use the sandwheels (SW) on the Yakattack Tow N Stow Bar Cart. I purchased the SW at a local kayak shop.I have a 2024 Hobie Outback and while the cart and the standard wheels will break down and fit in the front hatch (barely and that all that's gonna fit) the SW will not. Not a ding on the SW just an FYI for those planning to stow everything on the boat instead of taking them back to the vehicle. The SW are robust and the material of the tires feels thicker than what I have experienced with the Wheeleez brand of beach tires. On a side note, at $70 per tire it is less expensive than a 11" and 16" wheeleez tire ($100 and $130 respectively). They come one per box and they are deflated. Use a pump with a low pressure gauge to air them up. They also have a tank tread design on the tire different from the usual smooth tire of other brands.Out of the box and on the cart they did not spin very well. If the video i attached works you can see the difference between the two wheels. Out of the box it would not even spin one full rotation. This resistance adds to the effort needed to get these wheels moving and to keep them moving. On soft sand the SW will sometimes "ski" on the sand instead of turn. Not good at all. The good news is that they seem to be loosening up a bit. I can get just over one full rotation (see video) now. Hopefully they will spin more freely over time.Did I get a pair of lemons? I know I didn't because when I inquired at the local shop when they first became available they informed me that they were to return their shipment as they thought they were defective because the SW would not spin properly. Later, when I finally bought the wheels the store owner assured me I could return the wheels if I ever had an issue with them as she said the way they spin was how they were supposed to. Gonna keep using them and if there is no improvement in a few months I will look to other options and update this review.

It’s only one Tire. Wtf.
So don’t make the mistake I did. It’s one tire all the pictures make it seem like it’s a pair. This is my mistake but it sucks as I was taking my kayak on vacation. Now I have no way to haul my yak to the beach.

Only a Single Tire
Make sure to buy two if you need two. This is a single pack. It's pricey to buy two but seems well made.
