The torch handle threads for the acetylene are right hand not left hand like they should be but the check valve fits so it ends up being ok but it's still "funky".

We got this for some small and light jobs on the farm, and that is what it will handle. We've all used it, and we all agree that it is a good basic starter kit and does the job. It is not as robust as a more professional one is, but then again, this is not priced as a professional kit. We've had no problems or issues with clogging, and it has done everything we've asked of it.

gauge's don't work can't get any pressure in the o2 gauge for what you pay for this product i thought it would work some what but dose not work at all the lence's come off the product is just poorly made and i would not buy another product from this company again i would buy a harris set for a little more money

I got this set to try oxy-acetylene cutting, and what I can tell you is that the knobs and connections work smoothly in a mechanical sense. This set has a heating nozzle as well as cutting/welding nozzles.The connections have dual O-rings and professional advice from several sources says just to hand-tighten those nuts. A stamped wrench is provided, but I think it should not be used, or be very careful not to stretch the threads and create a leak.It fits medium-duty bottles. I think an adapter is needed for the smaller size acetylene bottle that a homeowner like me is likely to want. I found "CGA-200 (MC) to CGA-510 (POL) Adaptor" on Amazon for as low as $15, and then I will have larger nicer gauges, plus the convenience of the smaller bottle. Also needed would be bottles and a carrier for the bottles, or other way to keep them upright and protected.

This is a complete set of Oxy Acetylene welding tools. It has three sizes of welding tips and a rose bud for heating. There is a convenient and sturdy case to store it all in. The gas cylinders come from your local supplier. It is a good quality kit with accurate regulators. It will last for many, many years.
