This rug has very thin pile. The surface texture is similar to velvet. If you’re looking for a traditional thick wool rug, keep looking. If you need/want something thin with beautiful colors, a soft, fuzzy feel on your bare feet, and non-slip backing so your dog doesn’t wrinkle it up, this is your rug. My very old dog urinated on it and the colors held fast against pet urine neutralizer. It was good as new after machine washing and partially drying in a slightly warm dryer, then air drying to finish. It arrives folded and it takes a couple weeks for the fold marks to disappear.

So pretty and waaay softer than expected. It’s thin that just means it’s good for the washing machine. I like it so much. I think I’ll buy another.

Beautiful colors true to photo. Very soft, no odors. I purchased the 6 foot round green, perfect under my glass coffee table. 10 minutes in the dryer to take out package creases. Will recommend .

Not a black rug. Is a dark blue for sure.I still think it is a pretty rug but definitely not black like I ordered.I do like that it is washable. It is very lightweight and soft, but makes it so we can't vacuum with our regular vacuum. Luckily we have a roomba and that works fine on it. It is very thin and flat(for washing obviously) so if you are wanting plush, this may not be for you.

These are gorgeous rugs. They are so soft on your feet. I bought the blue ones. The colors are beautiful together and the fact that they are washable is an added plus. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
