Captivating as always
Another wonderful horror you can't help but devour in one sitting. Highly recommend for those who love horror and love it weird.

The Ring meets 80s children's TV Show
You can tell David's love for film by the numerous references and, whether on purpose or not, set pieces that reminded me of certain films. There's also the fact that the entire story is based on a haunted film, of sorts. The writing is great, as always. I enjoyed the story too, it was very twisty and the crossover between the real life of the characters and the Rumplejack tapes was well done, if not a little disorienting. Plenty of gory, imaginative deaths scenes too. No answers though, that annoyed me- who was Tommy? How did he come to be? What actually is Rumplejack? And who is the shadowy company?Overall it was a good read. A little disappointed there wasn't an "exposition dump" towards the end.

Another home run by David Sodergren
I loved Rotten Tommy SO MUCH. David Sodergren is such a stellar writer, and the way he introduces characters and teaches us about them makes me devour his novels like a fine meal. I loved main character Becky, a heroine I rooted for with my whole heart who’s also great representation for someone with autism. Sodergren is one of the greatest horror authors writing today, and I am insanely excited for the future projects he mentions at the end of RT!

A fun ride!
Another banger from Sodergren! Loved the main antagonist, Becky, and her unique characteristic’s which I have not come across much in other work. And the horror and gore was executed perfectly. Super fun and quick read.If you’re a fan of Sodergren’s other books this one is not to be missed.
