So far so good!
I received this bathing suit today; I've tried it on and walked around the house but I've not yet had a chance to test it in water. Once I've done that, I'll be sure to update my review.I read reviews before ordering (thank you, ladies, for the helpful photos!) so I knew to order up. I still wasn't sure which size would work, however, so I ordered this grey suit in 4XL and the same style in a 5XL mint green. For reference, I'm 5'6" and 216 pounds as of this morning. My measurements are 44" bust (38D bra), 41" natural waist, 44" at largest point in my stomach, and 47" hips. I currently wear size 16/XL in most pants and XL in most tops. When I gain and lose weight, it is generally evenly distributed but my stomach has taken a bigger hit recently. On to the suit. I tried on the 4XL suit first as it was on top in the box. Before putting it on, I checked for any defects since there were a number of reviews that there were seam holes or the underwire/lining came separated. Everything looked kosher so I put it on. It fit surprisingly well! It features foam cups with underwire that were *almost* in the right spot. Other reviewers have commented that it is a little short-waisted and I would agree. If not for those reviews, I would blame this on my distended belly though; if my belly were flatter, the suit would seem longer in the torso. The halter strap is comfortable as long as it isn't tied too tightly. The leg openings fit perfectly and were not too high or too low. Walking around, they didn't move so I still had full coverage in front and back. Even with my larger belly, the ruching was still "ruched." My one complaint is the top back; it is just loose enough that I had to pull it up a time or two as I walked around. Everything else fit well enough that going down a size to have a better fit in the back wouldn't work so I'll take the top side seams in just a little with my serger. I've attached a front view photo.Regarding the construction, it seems well made for a $25 suit. The seams on the one I received are solid and I'm not concerned about them blowing out. It's not Spanx; this suit will not hold you in. Ordering a size down would probably do a *little* of that but I wouldn't risk it since stretching the thin material/seams would cut down on the life of the suit and potentially cause a wardrobe malfunction. The front panel is double-layered, meaning there is a layer of white mesh covered by the swimsuit fabric. The white mesh attaches to the "panty" portion and the swimsuit fabric is unattached at the bottom to make a psuedo tankini. The panty portion is high enough that you aren't going to be oversharing any important bits if the "tankini" flips up - since it is attached at the side seams, there's not much that could flip up anyway. The back is a single layer of the swimsuit fabric. I couldn't see through the rear like some reviews said but it also isn't stretched tightly across my butt. If I'd gone down a size, I'd be concerned about transparency.Since the 4XL grey suit fit so well, I initially wasn't going to try the 5XL mint green number - but changed my mind so I could provide a more complete review. The green suit did not have any defects either. The belly area fit well since, again, I am carrying extra weight there, but nothing else did. The cups were too large. It didn't provide support because the back was too big to bring the cups close enough to my body. The material pooled around my lower back like shirts do if you have a swayback. The leg openings were a little large so walking around meant they crept up and exposed more of my posterior than the world needs to see. Overall, a terrible fit. I've attached a back view shot since that is where the majority of fit issues were.Overall I am pleased with my purchase so far. Again, once I test it in water and wearing it for more than a few minutes, I'll update my review.

This swimsuit makes me feel like Marilyn Monroe, and I just had a baby a few months ago!
Despite my mummy tummy (4 kids will do that to you) I feel sexy, and stunning in this. Seriously, that never happens to me when I try on a swimsuit. I'm not sure what kind of sorcery they use when they made this suit, but I'm just about ready to buy one in every color from this company. After several hours of scouring different internet sites looking for swimsuits that would be flattering to my figure and kind on my budget I chose to buy 2 from this company, figuring I'd send the one that didn't fit me back (I tried out two sizes). They both wound up fitting me albeit differently, and I've decided to keep them both. This one is hands down my favorite of the two though. (The other one was this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TI5DY4C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)How this suit fits: I'm nursing right now so I needed a suit to fit my chest, which at it's largest is 46 inches. (I don't like sharing this info, but I figure it might help someone pick the right size) My bottom half is smaller, and presently I wear a size 12 jeans,(again I don't like sharing this but I know how frustrating swimsuit shopping can be, especially online) but I definitely have a post-baby pooch. I went with the size 14/16 suit hoping it wouldn't be too loose on my bottom half, and it's definitely not, and it fully covers my booty. I love the way the fabric is bunched on the front as it hides a multitude of flaws. There is definitely A LOT of support up top, which made me SO happy. The only downside is halter style clothes hurt my neck if I wear them for too long. If it starts being a problem though I figure I can stitch the straps to the back of the suit in an x, but I'd prefer not to. This suit definitely will show cleavage though, but it still has a very generous coverage of "the girls". With that said, the suit doesn't fit perfectly up top, but quite frankly I would be shocked to find a swimsuit that does fit me perfectly considering my top should probably be an 18/20 while my bottom half is a twelve. Oh the joys of breastfeeding.......I have NOT worn this in a pool yet, so I have no idea how it will hold up. But considering the fact I was able to try on a swimsuit so close post partum, without the insatiable desire to drown my sorrows in a pint of ice cream after seeing myself in the mirror, and I loved the way I looked so much that I felt inspired to write a review should tell you something about this suit.A note on the other suit's sizing: I purchased a size 10/12 in the other swimsuit from this company. It fit my bottom half great but it exposed *much* more of my chest area, but not enough for me to return it.I LOVE the retro look.
