Good Stuff! 2 of 3 will be regulars for me.
I'm kind of a BBQ nut and I want to try all the rubs. I tried the MVP on some ribs first and was really impressed, enough so that I can't wait to try it on some pulled pork going forward. I think this will be in part of my rotation (I'm not the type to settle down with just one rub, sorry AC ... it's not you, it's me).I wasn't as big of a fan of the midnight smoke on my ribs and the family agreed (and it might just be that the MVP was too good). I think it might do a little better on my burgers, but I haven't tried that one yet. What's crazy to me is that the Lemon Stepper flavor was kind of like a thrown in for me, I was after the traditional BBQ rubs in this set, not a chicken/fish rub. Man has that changed, this one just might be my favorite, we had it on some fish a few nights ago and really made a difference. We weren't much of a "rubs on fish" type family, but we sure are now. I can't wait to try it on veggies as well. This is a really good set for anyone looking to experiment with new BBQ rubs and if, like me, you weren't really a fish rub person, I think you're going to be suprised with this Lemon Stepper rub. Great job AC BBQ!

3 great flavors
I had previously enjoyed this company’s bbq sauces, so figured I’d try this three pack of seasonings as well.. I’m happy I did because all three seasonings are high quality and enjoyable. Although they are described as being “rubs”, you can use it that way or as a traditional seasoning that’s sprinkled on.Let’s start with, well, the mvp of the bunch in “The MVP”. It’s a smokey but tangy bbq flavor that almost reminds me of that famous fast food rib sandwich that only comes around once in awhile. I find myself using this one a lot, but it really shines on popcorn, transforming it into almost like a bbq chip.Midnight smoke is similar to the MVP but a bit more kick to it. I’ve been using this on meats mostly, as a rub. The flavor does a great job penetrating the meat and there’s a bit of texture to this bottle which aids in forming a crust.Lemon Stepper is for chicken, plain and simple. If you’ve ever had “lemon pepper wet” wings, you know what I’m talking about. Okay, I’ll also admit to putting this on roasted potatoes and vegetables with tons of success. But only because I ran out of chicken wings!Great three pack and bonus points for being a minority owned business. My star ratings explained:5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends.4 stars = Exceeded expectations.3 stars = Met expectations. Satisfied with purchase but not overwhelmed.2 stars = Failed to meet expectations but usable.1 star = Avoid.

Amazing well thought out spices
I went to culinary school and love having many different spices at my disposal. I also live in Southern California so we can grill and BBQ year around. I recently cleaned out my spices and needed some new spices for my grilling. This set looked perfect so I decided to give it a try. When they arrived I tasted each spice to see what I thought each would work best for.The MVP is smokey with a hint of sweetness. This is a great all purpose rub but I cannot wait to sprinkle it on some pork ribs and throw them on the grill. The Midnight Smoke is smokey with a little heat. The coriander seeds bring in a citrus flavor with a peppery undertone. The real stars are the horseradish and worcestershire, which I absolutely love. The Midnight Smoke would be amazing rubbed on a brisket cooked low and slow. The Lemon Stepper is not your ordinary lemon pepper. While lemon and pepper are at the forefront of this spice the garlic and rosemary take this lemon pepper to a whole new level. This Lemon Stepper would be excellent on Salmon, Mahi Mahi, or even chicken. These spices are excellent and well thought out. The flavors are amazing and I love using them with my grill and BBQ.

Quality meat rubs
I was genuinely impressed with the flavor and smokiness these rubs provided. They worked wonderfully with almost any meat I grilled. The MVP added a rich, smoky BBQ flavor that enhanced ribs and pork alike. Midnight Smoke had a great smoky kick and was fantastic on steaks. The Lemon Stepper surprised me with its versatility, pairing perfectly with chicken and fish. This trio of rubs is a must-have for any BBQ enthusiast.

Perfect all purpose seasoning trio
This is a nice variety set of seasoning rubs. These are decent size bottles, so I’ll definitely be able to get a good amount of uses out of these before needing to restock. All three smell divine, but MVP takes the cake for me in smell and taste. It has a very rich, smoky bbq aroma and will be perfect on practically everything! I actually used MVP to season a batch of homemade fries, and they were absolutely delicious. Midnight smoke is good on steak, and lemon stepper is my favorite on grilled zucchini. The seasonings shake out nicely, and it’s super easy to spread over meat. These fire up and roast well! Everything tastes fresh, and I can’t see these seasonings even lasting long enough to make it to their expiration dates. This trio would make a great father’s day gift!

yes yes and yes
I love all three of these rubs. The MVP is my favorite, working great as a rub on red meats mostly. But these rubs can also be used for regular seasoning as well. The lemon pepper one is my next favorite and I have been using it a lot on chicken. The flavor is so full and delicious. These rubs are excellent quality and texture for great taste as well as a nice coat. Definitely happy with these and will make my summer bbq game much better!

Big flavors
This is a very nice assortment of spices and rubs. If you can cook it, one of these flavors will work well. I am really enjoying the lemon stepper. It works very well with chicken. I like how there is more of a lemon grass essence than lemon peel. It is also excellent for marinade and dressings. If you are a fan of dense smoke flavor then Midnight Smoke is right up your alley. It’s so smoky it darn near set my smoke detector off. Got a hankering for heat? Then rub some MVP on your meat. MVP is not just about heat there is some great all around spice flavor that adds great depth to your creation.
