Measure the size of the smaller beds onto a piece of newspaper and put it on the floor, then put your dog on top of the paper. Make sure there is room for your dog to move around.

Can you cover the mesh windowss & top so it is dark inside?

It isn't very light inside anyway. I have a small throw over the top which also falls over the side vents to make it quite dark, but you do need ventilation so I don't cover the door flap.

Do you think this would suffice as a crate whilst on holiday?
