Saved us £155
Our Bosch classixx 6 came up with error code f21. After a google search I tried a reset but it only cleared it did a few seconds. Found a website saying f21 is mainly always down to worn carbon brushes. So I ordered some whilst also enquiring with repair shops . We were quoted £140-160. These cost £5.20 . We found numerous videos detailing how to change them. Changing them was easy, removing the back not so much . Just make sure you have the correct tools for the job . The first spin during the test wash was loud like a high pitched whirring. Which is normal. The power of the spin is now amazing

Good replacement
Saw a video on how to fit these to a Bosch washing machine. It seemed straightforward enough but involved removing some bolts holding the motor then removing it. However mine was different and I could not remove the motor so had to fit the brushes in situ. The first one was easy but the other was behind the motor and was very fiddly to do as its difficult to feed the spring into the tube just by feeling it. Managed to do it eventually and the washer appears to be working again. I've only tried it briefly as I had bought a new machine before ordering these brushes. I'll update this review if I encounter any problems with them.

Good value, used for Bosch Classixx 6
Arrived fast. Working fine on my Bosch Classixx 6. Only part of the back of the Classixx 6 can be removed - I had to lay the machine on its side to remove the motor. The brushes themselves were very fiddly to fit - it's quite tricky to compress the springs and the copper wire in the middle kept bunching up sideways and out of the spring and getting in the way. Well worth the time and effort though... I wonder how long the will last...

Easy to fit and work perfect - but false economy
EDIT: Lasted 6 months before needing replacing again. The originals lasted 8 years. They may be cheaper than genuine parts but I'd need to buy 16 of these to get the same use as a genuine pair would last. Not worth it in my opinion. Our Bosch washing machine stopped working and after checking the error codes on line found that the carbon brushes may need replacing. After checking various makes on Amazon I went for these. They were easy to fit (following instructions on Youtube) and worked perfectly. There was a bit of a scrapping from the motor the first couple of days as they bed in but now there's no noise. Would by these again if needed.

Brilliant, fits a NEFF W5420X0GB
Our 8 year old washing machine stopped working yesterday mid-cycle, beeping and flashing away. The lights were indicating a motor fault. For a fiver I thought it's worth giving these a go before sending our NEFF to washing machine heaven. The brushes arrived today, all fitted and working again! They were a gnats whisker too wide, but a quick run over a file made them slide perfectly. Highly recommended.

Short lived replacement.
Replacing the original brushes with these substitutes successfully resolved the F43 motor problem on our Siemens washing machine. However, they seem to be made from softer carbon than the originals and lasted less than seven months before the machine failed again with another F43 motor fault. The inside of the machine was filthy with carbon dust particles when I opened it.The original brushes had been good for quite a few years, so I would not recommend these as replacements due to their short life. I've now installed a pair of genuine Bosch/Neff/Siemens. They are much more expensive, but I assume they will last as long as the original brushes

Works
Brushes need more of an angled wedge. Thought they were not working initially but bedded in after first wash.

Worked great
Bought for Bosch Maxx 6 as stated was compatible. Delivered promptly and protected. They fit perfectly and I now have a working machine again, for only a fiver. Couldn’t be happier, many thanks.
