A Silent Assassin for Summer Pests – No Zaps, Just Results.
If you’re like me and want fewer bugs without the obnoxious zap-pop-sizzle soundtrack, this DynaTrap DT1130-GRSR is a summer sanity-saver.I’ve been using it for a bit now and have absolutely noticed a reduction in mosquitoes, gnats, and flying pests around the yard. It runs quietly, draws the bugs in, and does its thing without drawing attention—or making you jump every time it zaps something (because it doesn’t!). It's super easy to use, just plug it in. Cleaning is a breeze, just open the door at the bottom. I have mine hung on a shepherd hook, I just unplug it and empty it over a trash can.Color: The dark green is perfect—it blends seamlessly with trees, plants, or patio décor.Durability: The unit feels sturdy and well made—like it’s built to outlast a full season and then some.Effectiveness: The UV light works well as a lure, and the fan pulls bugs in without noise or smell.Coverage: Designed for up to ½ acre, it’s great for backyards, patios, and garden areas.Bonus: It’s a great alternative to traditional bug zappers if you’re not a fan of flying sparks or fried-moth smell.Cons? Not many, but a few things to note:– It needs power access (not solar), so plan placement near an outlet.– Like all traps, it takes some time to really see the full effect—but it’s working.– You’ll want to clean the trap regularly for peak performance.Bottom line: It's a good value for the money, quiet, clean, and effective. For folks who want to reclaim their yard from summer pests without the drama.

Totally worth it and totally works!
I have one of these at each of my exterior doors and they fill with beetle bugs, moths, gnats and mosquitoes that are NOT in my house this summer! NO waking in the middle of the night to a high pitched buzz in my ear. No waking to a big welt on my face from being bitten in the middle of the night. I went back and got another one for inside the garage.

It works! And pretty to look at
It works, finally! A big remover for the hot summer month. I have for sure noticed a decrease in mosquitoes. It does capture them well and hold them inside alive. The one thing I never thought of, though it catches them it also attracts more bugs because of the up light. I haven’t noticed an issue but I have noticed more bugs but they do get caught. It is very pretty to look at and you don’t hear a zapping every two seconds which is nice. I don’t love the push on/off button it’s a bit hard to press when it’s hanging. Wish it came with a remote or easier way to turn off, especially if it’s hanging a ways from the area. The cord too is also very short. We needed an extension cord which I don’t love because it doesn’t look great, and was an extra purchase. Other than this it’s amazing. I will be getting one for my parents home. I leave it on 24hrs and shut it off during storms. I would remember the bugs don’t die right away. They are alive inside and are only being caught. So discarding should be done at a distance from the location being used. If the fan or machine is turned off I am not sure if they can get out because the fan and flap is not functioning. I love the color green as it blends nicely. Thick black cord to plug in and easy instructions. Good brand and well known. I love that you can get a RP light if necessary which helps. It is a nice size and covers about 1/2 acre which is perfect for our Apt balcony. It was a great value and on sale which was nice. Thought was hard to tell the difference of the other models outside of the coverage of area.

Works great
Great design and definitely catches the bugs and kills them. Love this thing just wish I would have bought the black one!

Do Not Waste Your Money!
This is one of those products that you wish would work as advertised, but, unfortunately, does not. I've had mine hanging outside for a couple of weeks now, and the results are very disappointing. It does a great job of ensnaring moths, but I see absolutely no sign of a mosquito. Just another consumer 'con job'.

If you’re hoping for magic…
The results are great for lots of bugs, but not great for flies and only mediocre for mosquitoes. I’m not sure the blue LED has much to do with it during the day. Mostly I think it’s random that an insect flies/lands close to the intake and gets sucked in, but maybe I’m wrong! All in all, I’m glad I have it but won’t purchase it again if needed.

Best mosquito control yet.
This thing is quiet, and effective. You hang it up, plug it in and leave it on...and it literally eats the bugs; collecting them to be released easily with the push of a button. Size is relevant to average, but size up for the best coverage. Bulb is replaceable, readily available and lasts an average of 3000 hours.

It works.
I didn’t read what I was buying and thought I bought a bug zapper, ( even tho it clearly says all over it “bug trapper”) I was going to use it in my garage to kill wasps, but wound up putting it in my sons room on a shelf, works as a nice night light ( it’s a black light so its not to bright but makes objects in the room Pop and that’s cool) and it catches all flys or gnats or I’ve even caught multiple moths so this is very nice for that! So I’m loving it.
